Air Jordan 14 “Black Toe” + “Ferrari”
Can you ever remember people being this excited about the Air Jordan XIV? The “Last Shot” drummed up plenty of excitement last time they came around, but not too many of the pairs at that point matched them. For this year’s run for the sneakers, it seems like a couple of separate pairs are already pretty anticipated. Chief among them would be the Air Jordan 14 “Black Toe” and the Air Jordan 14 “Ferrari”, both of which are on display here. Figure out which one you like better by checking out the photos below and keep it locked on Sneaker News for release dates.

Both are musts for me. I dunno if it's the pics but the parts that look like carbon fiber on the Ferrari pair are supposed to be like a champagne color on the black toes. I had them when they first came out and still have a second OG and they've always had that slightly gold tint. So they're kind of off...still have been missing these for awhile
Most of the recent Retro Jordan releases have been head-scratchers to say the least. But i'ts always special when an OG colorway releases.
AJ XIV "Black Toe" > AJ XIV "Ferrari". Jordan brand probably gonna hype the F*** out of "Black Toe" & "Ferrari" colorway hahahaha.......
@hrbomber1113 LMAO wow dude. Whats a second OG? Im pretty sure the "champagne color" youre speaking of is yellowing due to oxidation over the years. They never came with the yellowing. Always white. You hype.
I think he's referring to the pearlescent color on the "teeth" and midsole. It was visible on the OGs, not sure about the retros that dropped with the stitching on the side panel.
@Nucleus_One Thank you. Literally all the places that look like carbon fiber on the midsole and teeth of the Ferrari pair are that champagne/gold tinted color and definitely not white on the OG. And a second OG is exactly what it sounds like. If you went to the store and bought a box of cereal...and then another...you'd be buying a second box of cereal. See, in the English language second is a word that denotes the number two in order or amount. I was 13 and wore a 9.5 when they first came out. Then I bought another pair of OGs in size 13 when i was 19. Second OG...meaning I had a pair right when they came out and I have a pair that's old and they have the same color. The midsole gets sticky but it doesn't yellow. Seriously, how hard is it to google the OG pair and see that it's clearly not white? Nucleus, I passed when they came out with the side panel version as well but the OGs definitely had the gold/off white/champagne deal. Thanks for not being a douche and knowing what you're talking about. You are in the vast minority on both accounts. Also, still trying to figure out how saying a shoe DOESN'T look exactly OG is hyping. I think that's what, "You hype" means.
