adidas recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of their celebrated ZX line in a big way by bringing back a number of retros, one of them being the memorable 80s runner in the adidas ZX 8000. It came at a perfect time too, when the climate of repurposing technical runners from previous decades as casual everyday wears is picking up enough momentum to bring back more obscure models. The ZX 8000 was one of the more popular silhouettes in the ZX imprint though, and the latest release shouldn’t be too hard to pass up thanks to a shock of an electric royal blue working nicely with a dark navy. Meanwhile, a white mesh base and grey suede make for a casual contradiction. Stay tuned for more adidas ZX models in the future and grab this pair over at international stocklists like Titolo today.
