It’s a safe bet at this point that there isn’t a retail release coming anytime soon for the Air Jordan 5 “CP3”. They were rumored to being showing up for Holiday 2013, but have since sort of faded into the ether without much explanation as to why. Reminding us of how exciting such a release would be is this new photo set, which does a better job than previous ones showing off that sort of linear texture across the upper. Get extra imagery on the Chris Paul Air Jordan V after the break and tell us where they rank in terms of all-time unreleased Jordan samples.

AJ V "Optimus Prime" colorway. Dope imo. Just get some colors & JUST DO IT. XD

How nice would it be if JB release these or the Jordan 5 Melos? The Oregon 5s wouldn't hurt either.

Its that same Ballistic material used on the Bel Airs! Really nice CW as well. I wish JB would not just release these, but give us more awesome Colorway/Material options on all of the New retros. Could you imagine a Jordan 6 made of this material...It would be an instant Classic! Wouldn't mind seeing a AJ1 OG High made of a combination of nice leathers like Nubuck, suede, the oil treated Nubuck used on the Fear 4's... What's the deal Jordan Brand!?!
