The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low “University Red” will release on September 13th, 2014. The demand for red sneakers is certainly still at a high point, but we’d be surprised if these managed to eclipse the likes of this past weekend’s “Beethoven” Kobe 9s in terms of hype. The pair goes with a red base and introduces some speckling into the equation via the midsole piece and the laces. These are pretty bad. The BEETHOVENS were real nice. What happened to the JORDAN INSPIRED Kobes? There was an article earlier in the year where they said there was a "Michael Jackson" inspired one which we saw, and an elephant print JORDAN inspired pair. Hope to see those soon.
