Retail employees and law enforcement will certainly have to brace for impact when the Legend Blue 11 Jordans officially release next week on December 20th. In an effort to minimize the chaos on the release day, some retailers have handed out raffle tickets via lottery that would ensure winners an opportunity to buy the updated Columbia 11s next week, but even that scenario doesn’t guarantee that things go smoothly. Reports of people being tasered by police, fights breaking out among those waiting, and other sad happenings that bring negative attention to sneaker releases are, quite frankly, not surprising. Check out some news reports below and if you want to avoid the chaos for yourself, cop a pair right now on eBay.

Footlocker just made my day!!!!!!!!! My girl just got that call!!!! Team work baby!!!! So stoked and excited!!!!! Woohoo
i only did one store raffle... fuck store hopping... if i get called for em, i get called... not pressed
Yah this is why I copped my joints online at www.bred11ssale.net ONLY $189 ...They will arrive safe and sound just after the release date. No fuss no mess no line ups lotteries or none of that thank you lol
@jordanshoesfans are they authentic?
@jordanshoesfans lmao.....hate to tell you this bruh, but...
@kshaun12 yea it is. Very easy. Any idiot can stand in line for a raffle. Hell I was surrounded by mothers picking up tickets for their kids asking "are these the Jordans??", I'm gonna crush those people on an online release with my hands tied. Online purchases, if you know how it all goes down are 100X easier on a mass GR like this (not so much with limited stuff like Slam Dunk 6s for instance). It's only harder if you're not a vet. If you want to learn quick, read my comment below and also YouTube some "Online Camping for..." videos to see how people get sneakers from Nike.com easily. No bot needed. No preorder needed. Nothing but your computer or cell phone, a decent connection and patience.
@AlexandraMusey i'm more of a 10s guy but I can't ignore the patent leather on the 11s :)
People saying GL easy cop....reply to me where u got this confidence. ...I got a ticket from every retailer in area but demand is going to way outstrip supply....please respond with this info...some stores have been handing out tickets to guarantee shoes not raffle...that's probably where Khao s is
I got 7 pairs of the Black Infared 6s in cart on release date online, only bought 3. I'll probably get 5 of these no sweat. It's not about demand exceeding supply, it's about two things 1) they made over 400,000 pairs of these, there are PLENTY and 2) 95% of the people going for this shoe have NO IDEA how to get sneakers online and probably haven't even tried since last 11 released. Whereas people like myself Add to Cart every single week for practice, every week. Like I'll do every release just to hone my skills, even if I just release the shoe without actually buying.
On a release like this you need three things. You need to be up at 7:55am and be willing to work until about 10am. You need a browser on a computer opened to Nike, Foot Locker, Foot Action, Champs and Eastbay. And you need patience. This release is only difficult because from 8am-8:30, the sites going to be crashing like hell and overloaded. But after 30 minutes or so, things die down. Just keep clicking as fast as you can. Switch browser tabs, click add to cart a few times on Foot Locker, then Champs, then Foot Action, etc. Click Click Click and DO NOT STOP clicking. Do that from 8am until 9am and I promise you'll land a pair. With Nike just add to cart at EXACTLY 8am and wait.
Thank you, and yes you can if you have military ID they're on a first come first serve basis. However there will be campers out there the night before
@slizick21 I got 15 tickets. Only won 1. Doesn't matter. I'll get 4+ pair online easy, easily
Don't they know every FTL, FNL, FA stores all over the USA will have FSR? Why the rush?
My Nike and Jordan stocks become higher and higher as sneaker addicts go fever pitch.
@Eccroids There is only stock in Nike, not Jordan Brand which is owned by Nike. Ticker symbol for Nike on the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange) is NKE. You can't be making that much money on it because it's under-performed the S&P 500 over the last year. With a beta of .80, it's never going to be a market beater. Period. I hate to tell you this, but, you're wrong.
Raffled like a madman today, No problem at all.
Gift of Flight Pack x5
Legend blue XI x5
Xmas Kobe's x1 (just because.. Lol)
@Cop em and Rock em Same here, except in Oklahoma no one is handing out raffles for the Xmas shoes yet. I got the pantone pack raffle (only one single place in OKC is getting them) but several X1 tickets. Even when I was browsing the mall tonight it was calm and all the shoe stores had their raffles set up at stands outside the store. No violence at all. Now Saturday...
@J NO EXPLANATION Penn or Quail either one. They're doing those raffles today I think. For the Xmas shoes.
One word......"Niggas". It is just a shoe, I bought mine early to avoid the shenanigans of stupid ass people fighting for a shoe.
Man, if people do this for a F*****' pair of J's imagine what they'll do when food runs out in this world? Scary thought: CANNIBALISM.
@"C.E.O." It's not just shoes. I've said this before. 4 years ago a woman got crushed under the sliding glass doors of a Wal-Mart last he white trash piled in on Black Friday to buy cheap shit they couldn't afford. It's the way we are as a consume society. I love the rush of getting a shoe because I got lucky enough to win it. I've lost some, I've won some, but I think playing the game is the best part.
Too many retailers (like Finish Line) only did a limited amount of tickets. House of Hoops did as many as people wanted. That's what caused the problem. What stopped those idiots at Finish Line from just doing unlimited tickets? Your store got X number of shoes. It doesn't matter if you hand out Y number of tickets or Y times a million. You're only going to draw out X names. Stupid.
