DQM and Vans celebrate the heritage of New York’s famous brownstone row houses with the “Brownstones” collection featuring the Sk8-Hi 46 LX and Old Skool LX. Found most notably in Harlem and Park Slope, Brooklyn neighborhoods, brownstones have become an architectural and cultural landmarks of New York, representing a by-gone time in the city. The two sneakers by DQM and Vans feature the hues characteristic of the tan, red and brown sandstone material used to build the brownstones, presented in a combination of premium suede, leather, nubuck, and canvas. Both classic side-striped models get colorways in your choice of brown or red brick/tan colorways, finished with premium details including riveted brass eyelets with single tortoise glass eyelets, waxed flat laces, gum outsoles and The General’s signature navy blue heel tab print. Additionally, each shoe features a Scotchgard-treated water-resistant coating to help them stand up to the East Coast’s wet spring weather. The DQM x Vans Brownstones collection releases March 19th in men’s and women’s sizing at The Vans DQM General in SoHo, New York and online at dqmnewyork.com on March 19th.
