adidas went a totally different route this year when presenting the latest footwear collection for the McDonald’s High School All-American Game. Instead of the usual red and yellow affair in a reference to the sponsorship in the Golden Arches, the three stripes went straight Grimace on the competition by debuting all purple everything atop the adidas D Rose 5 Boost and the adidas D Lillard 1. The purple suede will immediately remind you of Ronald McDonald’s purple friend while hints of speckling arrive on the midsole.
