Nike KD 7 GS “Ice Cream”

Nike KD 7 GS “Ice Cream”

The KD 7 should be remembered for all of the GS exclusives that took priority over actual adult sizes throughout the year. The move makes a lot of sense if you think about it. Kids are much more inclined to look up to Kevin Durant even when he’s sidelined. And if playful colorways like the ever-obvious Peanut Butter and Jelly reference, and now this upcoming Ice Cream look feature heavy graphic prints to cater the the kids, then pairs are even more likely to fly off store shelves. Just look at what happened a few months back when a strictly GS Foamposite released had parents lining up on a weekday at an Alabama mall. Here KD’s sweet tooth is back thanks to this summer-ready installment. The posite heel counter features pre-bitten ice cream cones and popsicles in an array of light blues and red to stand out. And even with Nike trying to position KD as an intimidating figure with campaigns like The Badd35t and KD is not nice, releasing the amount of GS friendly Nike KD 7 colorways kind of goes against the grain, doesn’t it?
