Who would’ve thought that tongue branding would be such a scrutinized detail? Fans of the Air Jordan 1 (so seemingly every sneakerhead on the planet) rejoiced when Jordan Brand made the decision to return to the OG Nike Air branding on the tongue tag, and the move even made its way onto a few pairs of the Air Jordan 1 Low this year. Now it looks like they’re making the switch back to the Jumpman for pairs not rooted in the original colorway run from 1985 as this University Red aesthetic proves. The 30 year anniversary insole remains as the vibrant red upper features a nice contrast stitching on the white Swoosh to highlight a noticeable outline. Check out more photos below.
