The sneaker community when up in arms when the OG colorway of the Air Jordan 7 began to be called the “Raptors” upon its early-2000s release. The original concept released long before the Canadian expansion team ever came to fruition, but when the shoes re-released in 2002, the younger generation began calling the mix of red and purple the “Raptors” colorway, and we can begrudgingly accept that. This upcoming Nike LeBron 12 Low can be called the same, although it has colors that match the Air Jordans more than it does the original franchise palette.
