Nike Air Tech Challenge III “Wheat”

The Nike Air Tech Challenge craze really hit home with the arrival of the Nike Air Tech Challenge II retro onto the scene. Perhaps it was “sneakerheads” recognizing the familiar outsole because of the Nike Air Yeezy cosign or the loud colorways that grabbed their attention. Regardless, Andre Agassi’s signature line with Nike was undoubtedly one of the most profound non-basketball lineups in Swoosh history and it’s great to see the brand continue with the Nike Air Tech Challenge III. The retro will see a ton of lifestyle mock-ups throughout the remaining year, and the Wheat variety even goes as far to include the vibrant Volt tennis ball logo that was missing on retros in past years. With a soft suede upper, gum outsole, and boot-inspired striped laces, this is the most untraditional Air Tech Challenge to date. What do you think of the look? Check out a better view below and be on the lookout for this pair to arrive at retailers in the near future.
