If you were ever in doubt that sneaker fandom was a worldwide phenomenon, look no further than the Philippines’ first ever Sneaker Carnival held in Manila this past weekend. The Sneaker Con equivalent of the Philippines featured a number of brands showcasing their latest products, from Puma, Reebok, and New Balance to even adidas. Our Sneaker News Volume 2 was even on-sale for attendees. The event featured music performances from over 25 local acts and a food festival was held outside with the help of the best local restaurants and food trucks. Sneaker Carnival even had a 10K dash in hopes that 10,000 pairs of sneakers would be donated to those less fortunate and may have never even experienced wearing a pair of sneakers before. Be sure to check out a full event recap below.
