Being one of the biggest stars and most recognizable names on one of the most successful NFL football franchises should make for some marketability in the sneaker world, right? If Victor Cruz who isn’t even playing can get a signature shoe from Nike, we think Rob Gronkowski is a legit candidate, too, and it does indeed look like an “Air Gronk” may be on the way.  Gronkowski recently shared this photo on his Twitter account of what we can assume is an upcoming signature trainer, as it’s captioned with “Working with Nike on a project. Looking forward to sharing more details soon.” From the small amount we can see, it looks like the shoe in question will feature a tech mesh upper with plenty of support in the form of Flywire and a midfoot strap. Definitely something to keep an eye on if you’re a fan of Nike Training and/or Gronk. Stay tuned for any further details as they become available.
