Nike Introduces the Next Generation of Tennis Performance: The Air Zoom Ultrafly

Nikecourt Air Zoom Ultrafly 0

Nike is ready to unleash the next generation of high-performance tennis footwear by presenting the bold and innovative NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly. Unlike any tennis shoe before it, the Ultrafly takes heavy inspiration from a few of the brand’s speedy and lightweight football, soccer, and track & field models before it. Inspired to create the perfect mix of a tennis shoe and a track spike, NikeCourt designers aimed to invent a “rocket ship” for tennis.

The final design of the Air Zoom Ultrafly introduces a radical new silhouette to the the tennis court, featuring a form-fitting Flyknit ankle collar and asymmetrical construction up top, anchored by a Pebax® propulsion plate borrowed from track spikes and cushioned with hexagonal Zoom Air units. Lightweight and low to the ground with its asymmetrical design, herringbone outsole, and strategic Zoom Air cushioning, the Ultrafly provides ultimate support and traction for the speediest styles of play.

The NikeCourt Zoom Ultrafly will debut in the white/Volt and all-black colorways seen here on March 9th at Nike.com and select Nike stores. For a full run-down of the shoe’s tech details and design inspiration, visit Nike News.
