ASICS Transforms The GEL-Lyte III Into A Mid

Asics Gel Lyte Iii Mid Fall 2016 01

It was only a matter of time before ASICS Tiger transformed the ever-iconic ASICS Gel Lyte III into a winterized lifestyle offering. One of the Japanese running brand’s most profound creations has been revamped over the past half decade through numerous premium collaborations and a dedication to making the silhouette stand out through bold in-house general release colorways. Now the ASICS Gel Lyte III Mid is here to stand out for this Fall 2016 season.

The split-tongued classic gets an additional high-arching tongue for a boot-like construction. An entirely new sockliner adds more ankle and heel support while giving the model a bit more height to help keep your feet warmer for the colder months ahead. Two colorways have appeared thus far. The first features a tonal grey with bolstered suede and mesh details, while a dash of a “Green Glow” shade adds an extra pop. A navy, tan, and red fits the freshly updated model quite well.
