nike-sb-dunk-visual-history-comic-summary

Today marks a very special day in Nike SB Dunk history. On this day 12 years ago, the Staple x Nike SB Dunk Low “Pigeon” released to pandemonium throughout New York City, only to mark one of the most important occurrences in sneakerhead history: appearing on the front of the New York Post and bringing sneaker culture into the mainstream. Nike SB is marking the 15th anniversary of the imprint in a number of ways, and today they featured a unique visual history of the Nike Dunk’s skateboarding transformation with a fun comic.

Earlier today we saw Nike SB unveil the latest in the Dunk’s transformative history with the freshly minted Nike SB Dunk Elite Low featuring maximum volume Zoom Air cushioning, a seamless one-piece circular knit upper, and more slated to debut this March 2017. Check out the illustrations below and stay tuned for the coming 15 Years of Nike SB Dunks Raffle in the near future.
