With the different colorways of the Jordan PHLY dropping, this could potentially be Jordan Brand’s staple lifestyle shoe. The clean upper allows for a variety of colors, materials and patterns similar to the Blazer or the Dunk. The Air Jordan PHLY is a new lifestyle around sneaker that takes on the simplicity of Chuck Taylors and other silhouettes reminiscence of basketball shoes from the 50s. The name PHLY comes from Clifton “Pop” Herring – PH, Michael Jordan’s High School Basketball coach. Along with the White and Blue Ribbon PHLY we reported on a few days ago, this Black, white and Red colorway has just dropped at Jordan retailers and eBay. Via Hangtime

Continuing the use of the color blue ribbon this spring, the new Jordan PHLY is the latest to get a markup with blue ribbon. This Jordan PHYL features an upper in white micro perforated leather with blue ribbon piping, the sole gets has a stripe of red breaking up the white and blue. While there has been several colorways announced, this is first colorway that’s been made widely available in the US.
