It hasn’t been since the late 90’s that Nike has used pebbled basketball leather on an AF1. For Clark to pull out two colors in that sick material is Mr. AF1 himself in rare form. I should have expected nothing less as he has been on a roll since becoming a major part of Nike’s attention to the AF1 and the direction of the brand. Clark used nothing but the best here. As if the smell of factory LN2 materials and glues marinating in the Nike box for a few deadstocked months before being cracked open doesn’t give the exclusivity of this shoe away, the feel of the leather does volumes to get this point across.
Supple black butter soft leather adorns the toebox, frontal, eyestay and tongue alongside varsity maize contrast stitching. Radiant orange and purple from the SUNS color scheme tie the sneaker together perfectly at the side panel and heel with that luscious pebbled basketball leather Nike has abandoned for years. A double layered swoosh brings us back to the days of truly sick premiums like the Easters of ‘05. And to top it all off, Clark mates a black rubber midsole to a translucent gum outsole. Let’s not forget the nod to Starks laces effort in the mix, as these sick AF1’s are paired every so perfectly with matching Starks Laces.
For those of you smart enough to bug the same spots that received the 112 Pack and the Black Friday AF1’s rewards certainly abound you as you no doubt have your pair on hold or even better, already have them in your closet. These gems are set to release tomorrow with distribution being very limited. Rumor has it that less than 300 pair were allocated to the NorthEast. So if you haven’t locked down a pair you better get to working the phones and email as these will surely be gone in a blink of an eye as with every other All Star AF1 release. No word yet on exactly when the Tier 0 release will be landing, but stay tuned as we will surely have word once they appear. Look for these today at select Nike retailers, our friends at GourmetKickz has a few, and as a last resort try ebay.

After last week’s debacle with the Air Yeezy in Red and Grey, we now have some pictures of Kanye West himself rocking the Tan, White, and Red color of his collaboration sneaker with Nike, the Nike Air Yeezy. The Louis Vuitton Don showed up to the set of “Go Hard” which features himself, T-Pain, and DJ Khaled wearing this colorway and they are arguably the best pictures we’ve seen to date of the shoe. As you can see the outsole of the shoe is semi-translucent, meaning they probably glow in the dark. In addition to Kanye, Rick Ross showed up in a pair of the Olympic Jordan 6Rings while DJ Khaled had on a pair of the DJ Clark Kent 112 Air Force 1’s. via Nice Kicks // Mi Gente Clothing

With DJ Clark Kent’s 112 Pack releasing a month ago, he is back with yet another pair of exclusive Air Force 1s, which he has dubbed the “Beijing 2008 And The Winner Is…”. It is quite obvious where the sneakers got their inspiration from, with its metallic gold, silver, and bronze uppers, giving the shoe a stylish, flashy look. Unfortunately, these sneakers were made exclusively for DJ Clark Kent and will not be available for purchase. via Nicekicks

And finally, the bomb. This is the third and final sneaker in the 112 Pack of sneakers designed by DJ Clark Kent. This Air Force 1 features a masterful combination of grey 3M, Elephant Print, a black midsole and neon on the outsole and the laces. DJ Clark Kent were giving these away this morning at Vinnie Styles in Brooklyn and when he ran out of size 13 to give away, he took his own pair off his feet and gave it away. Respect. Those of you not lucky enough to have gotten a free pair this morning the pack will release the first week of July, the price – $125.
