Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low Big Apple Sample Available on eBay

Similarly to the Air Jordan line, the LeBron signature line has had a low-top counterpart for each member of the LBJ series. Sneaker News found a sample pair of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low in the “Big Apple” colourway, somewhat of a “reverse” colourway of the other LBJ7 Low we found yesterday. It features a patent leather mudguard and a suede upper, with a while midsole and royal-on-white speckled Air Bubble frame. How sweet would these look with LeBron bringing the ball up the Garden Hardwood? For that, Knicks fans will have to wait until the offseason, but if you must have these kicks now, grab your these size-9 samples from eBayer cigar0330.

Celebrity Feet: Q Tip & Spike Lee – New York Knicks Home Game

The Knicks won only their fourth game this season last night when they beat the Phoenix Suns’ on their home court, while a number of New York’s celebrities attended the game including Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Supermodels Irina Sheik and Jessica White, Seth Campbell from UES, Billie Jean King, Spike Lee, Q-Tip, and more. Q-Tip and Spike Lee both came to the game with some nice kicks on, for Q-Tip it was the Nike Dunk High Premium in Black, Metallic Silver, and Plum that was a part of this year’s East vs. West Rivals Pack. Spike Lee on the other hand kept his Jordan’s on by rocking a pair of the Black, Varsity Red, and Charcoal Air Jordan Fusion IX’s.

DJ Clark Kent x Nike Air Force 1 High Supreme East Releasing Tomorrow

In addition to being the biggest shopping day of the year, Black Friday is also a safe bet for some special sneaker releases as well. DJ Clark Kent, who brought us his special “Black Friday” Air Force 1’s last year, is back with another offering for this year’s shopfest kickoff. As you are probably well aware by now, Clark created several new styles for Nike’s East vs. West series, and while we’ve already seen the Gucci Dunk High and earth-tone Air Force 1 Low pop up in stores, a lot of people were wondering when his mysterious Air Force 1 High would hit the shelves. Appropriately enough, the DJCK Air Force 1 High Supreme will be dropping tomorrow, dipped in an unmistakably New York color scheme.

West coast rival Eddie Cruz used the L.A. sports teams for his color inspiration, and here we see Clark battling back with a fresh Royal/Orange/Black color combo reminiscent of the Knicks and Mets. In addition to the slick colorway and premium materials, the shoe also comes with some special goodies, a Nike NYC logo patch and a special box that sports the old-school orange/grey striped Nike look that many of us remember quite fondly. If you’re feeling these, look for them at select Nike retailers tomorrow November 25th, and if you’re in the NYC area tomorrow night, there will be a special in-store release event at 21 Mercer where none other than DJCK himself will be providing the sounds.

Air Jordan V (5) – Jared Jeffries Home PE

There have been some pretty fresh looking pairs of Player Edition sneakers popping up here and there.  With the surfacing of the Jared Jeffries AJ 5 – Away’s, we now look at the Home versions.  Taking on a white upper, the orange accents on these samples don’t really do the Knicks’ team colors justice.  Looking more of a red than Orange Flash, it only forces us to think about the Fusion 5’s that comes in a seemingly similar colorway.  Nonetheless, its a rare find.  Take a look after the jump at what rate of this particular pair is going for.  via Shoesholic

Celebrity Feet: Jay Z, Alex Rodriguez, & CC Sabathia New York Knicks Game

The stars came out to watch Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in their only visit to the Big Apple this year on Friday night. Coming off of their elusive 27th World Championship win, several New York Yankees’ players were in the building to watch King James and the Cavs take on the Knicks. Included amongst the celebrities were Jay-Z, Alex Rodriguez, CC Sabathia, Joba Chamberlin, John Legend, Chris Tucker, Anthony Anderson, and more. Jay-Z, Alex Rodriguez, and CC Sabathia all sat courstide along side one another and were seen talking and laughing throughout the game. By the looks of things Jay-Z decided to keep it “all black” other than his Blue Yankees fitted, and when it came to his sneakers he went with a pair of classic 6″ Black Timberland Boots. A-Rod on the other hand looks to have worn the Nike “New Six” Air Force 1 Supreme Lebron James edition. Sabathia, whose known to wear various Air Jordan’s from time to time including while he’s pitching went with the Air Jordan I Retro Phat’s in the Boston Celtics colorway.

Nike Auto Flight West LE QK + Auto Force 180 East LE QK

We’ve seen plenty of Nikes with that unmistakable Lakers look lately.  The pair pictured above is a West-reppin’ addition to the Nike Rivals Pack, the Nike Auto Flight LE Quickstrike in purple and gold.  The orange and blue Nike Auto Force 180 LE Quickstrike could go either way on the ‘Mets or Knicks?’ question, but we wonder if either of those teams is really anyone’s ‘rival’ these days.  New York basketball fans might have to settle for this vulcanized retro refresh until they make moves to try and sign LeBron.  Both of them are available on neutral territory at DC’s Major.

Nike Auto Force 180 Black Varsity Red White

When the Nike Auto Force 180 came onto the scene a short while back, one of the first colourways we got an extended look at was the New York Knicks (or Mets) pair in blue leather with orange accents.  Since the similarly vulcanized Auto Flight High is getting a Lakers colourup, this Chicago pair has us expecting something autoclaved in green to satisfy the Celtics fans.  But for now, Chi-town is on high, covering this midtop in a variety of leathers and nubuck.  Especially nice is the tonal safari print knap on the nubuck mudguard.  It’s a can’t miss colourway and you can grab yours today from Finish Line.

Nike Auto Force 180 QK NYC Colorway Holiday 2009

Yesterday, we got a look at the Los Angeles version of the Nike Auto Flight and now it’s time to check out another shoe from Nike’s upcoming “Auto” series that reps for L.A.’s east coast rival, New York City. We previewed these back in June, but now we get a peek at some new images of the Auto Force 180. Like the Auto Flight, these kicks take the upper from Charles Barkley’s Air Force 180 and give it a new look thanks to a simplified vulcanized midsole. This Auto Force 180 takes on a New York Knicks color scheme, using a royal blue upper with orange accents and an NYC logo on the heel. Expect these to hit select retailers as a Quickstrike some time during the Holiday ‘09 season. Via HS.

Nike Auto Flight High QK LE Los Angeles Colorway

The Nike Auto Flight High takes the Nike Flight Lite High and updates it with a vulcanized sole similar to classic models like the Nike Blazer. In the process, what used to be a performance basketball shoe has now been transformed into a streamlined lifestyle model. You may have already seen our previews of the Black/Red version and the Football Club edition, and now we bring you a look at a pair that sports a very identifiable color scheme. The combination of purple and gold can’t help but to bring thoughts of the Los Angeles Lakers.  A few months back, we showed you an Auto Force 180 that sports a very New York Knicks-ish royal/orange color scheme, and apparently, these will be repping for L.A to keep the NY/LA rivalry alive in the sneaker world even if the matchup is a little one-sided these days in the NBA. You can check out more pics after the jump and be on the lookout for these to hit select retailers as a Quickstrike in September.  Via HS.

Nike Auto Force 180 NYC Edition Holiday 09

Earlier today, we showed you a preview of the incredible Air Jordan VIII-inspired Air Hoop Structure and now we get a look at another hybrid model from the upcoming holiday ‘09 collection. You may have seen our sneak peek at the Auto Force 180 a few months back. The shoe takes the Air Force 180 design and fuses it together with a vulcanized Blazer midsole. This latest version pays tribute to the Big Apple with a Royal and Orange Mets/Knicks color scheme and a script “NYC” logo on the heel. Like the Air Hoop Structure, these kicks will be available some time later this year. We’ll keep you posted on the release info and you can check out another view of the kicks after the jump. Lil Penny in New York

Just when we thought Lil Penny had finally started to keep a low profile, he stormed back on the scene, appearing all over the Big Apple last week. It seems that the little guy couldn’t stay out of the spotlight as he tore it up courtside at the Knicks game and hit some hot nightlife spots. He also took some time out of his busy schedule to oversee the goings-on at the Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer store. Lil Penny stopped in to hang out, design an Air Force 1 and mingle with some of his adoring fans. This is no doubt just a warm up to the publicity blizzard he will have to endure in ‘09 as the Penny II, III and 1/2 Cent are all set to be released in multiple colorways. Be sure to check out Lil Penny showing his versatility in these pics by rocking a pair of white on white lil’ Air Force 1’s rather than one of his own signature models.

Nike Air Force 1 - NY Teams - 21 Mercer Street Samples

Way back in August when Nike Sportswear was opening in New York City, we showed you what were available at the store.  The Air Force 1s representing the New York Yankees, Knicks and Jets were on display when the store opened, were available to New York sports fans.  The other night, at the Nike Playmakers event, we spotted the same New York sports teams inspired Air Force 1s in the collection of DJ Clark Kent, and if you didn’t know already, designed by DJ Clark Kent as well.

At the event, we were able to get a closer look at the samples which features variations of the street address of Nike Sportswear in New York, “21 Mercer”.  Of course, the three AF1s representing the Knicks’, Yankees’ and Jets’ colorways were present.  There was even an AF1 that featured all three of the teams’ colorways for the ultimate New York Sports fans. Along with most of the sneakers on display at the event, these four were 1 of 1 samples that will never be available to the general public.
