Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch+ ND Black Purple Electrolime Gum Detailed Images

For whatever reason, the white/black/green/gum Nike Air Max 1 from Patta’s 5th anniversary never made it to retail.  Here’s a look at an updated AM1 that keeps it old school by giving us more gum.  This Air Maxim 1 Torch+ ND has alot of what’s new from Nike in both materials and colour combinations, but it’s all applied to a shoe lovingly known as “The ’87s”.  They’ve still yet to touch down in stores here in the states, but it’s only a matter of time; they just popped up at Dunk.com.cn

Nike Air BW Gen II Max Black White Available on eBay

We’ve been hearing alot about Nike’s new Torch fabric lately, and it’s finally ready to hit retail.  It’s actually already in the cutting edge new Nike Zoom Kobe V, but these runners pictured above are the first publicized kicks featuring the three-layered mesh.  This first Nike BW Gen II SI Max comes to us in a colourup we expected to be all-black.  All of our previews were dark as night, and so is Nike’s style code.  That means that the navy appearance in these photos might just be lighting, but then again, aren’t lights everywhere you go?  If you’re brave enough to break the navy/black law, cop a pair from id4shoes on eBay.

Nike Hyperfuse TB Fall 2010 New Images

Nike basketball and the Automotive industry seem to be running in parallels. In the late 90’s and early 00’s, Nike basketball kicks were SUV-like, tipping the scales at over 4 lbs. per pair. Over the last few years, Nike started to offer kicks with its primary goal being lightweight capability, going the hybrid-car route. Check out these new shots of the Nike Hyperfuse, a hybrid in its own, yet it’s not quite clear what it is a fusion of. What we do know is that the upper material will be Nike’s new Torch material, offering the utmost in breathability and lightness. The Nike Hyperfuse is part of Nike Basketball’s Fall 2010 Line, so we wouldn’t be surprised if these become the new “it” Hyper basketball shoe of the ‘10-’11 season. via SC.

Nike Sportswear Running 2010 @ Bread & Butter

Nike Sportswear has a ton of dope running releases on tap, and we got a look at plenty at the latest Bread & Butter tradeshow.  Pictured above is the updates Nike Air Classic BW Gen II, looking Torch-hot in black/red.  There are also two different black Air Max 1s, both of which share the BW’s swooping tongue tag insignia.  That seems to be a theme of this collection, as it comes up again on the latest Air Max 90 Current Moire, looking very aggressive in red and white.

A similar fiery shade comes up on one of the two ‘other’ AM1s that look like they very well could be a womens release.  They look pretty springy, but the white Mariah PR takes the cake on that front.  Last but not least, a black and white base with a single accent describes a pair of ‘classic’ Classic BWs, plus the Air Pegasus 83.  Impeccable collection here, so be sure to check the photos after the jump.  via Suede&Mesh

Nike Harajuku Spring 2010 Running Releases

We already know that updated classics like the Nike Air Classic BW Gen II are ready for serious running.  What about their answer teo the BW from 20 years ago?  Nike Running has quite the spread for you this spring, including some new models and dope colourways.

Clockwise, from the top right is the Nike LunarSwift+, the latest LunarLite soled featherweight runner.  Both pairs are white, with the mens adding green and blue hits, while the ladies’ opts for pink, yellow and orange.  Next up, the brand new Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 AP.

They keep the same basic white/gender-based-accent-colour scheme, which is then sorta combined into the new Zoom Speed Cage+ 2 AP.  Last but not least are the two black pairs of Zoom Structure Triax+ 12s.  They might be the prequel to the latest edition, but number 12 never hit stateside, so these are all new to us, and they’re all available at Nike Sportswear Harajuku.

Nike Air Max Modular 95 SI + 98 SI First Look

The Nike Air Classic BW was subject to a number of lab experiments in Beaverton, OR. It was hybridized with the classic Huarache to form the Nike B Huarache, and soon you’ll see the Nike Air BW Gen II. Here are new amalgamations to look forward to, as the BW is fused with the Nike Air Max 95 and the Nike Air Max Plus to form two “new” Air Max models, the Nike Air Max Modular 95 SI and the Air Max Modular 98 SI.

The Nike Air Max Modular 95 SI takes the Classic BW upper and the rear air unit and tongue of the Air Max 95, while the Nike Air Max Modular 98 SI utilizes the AM+ design lines on the toe and the rear sole unit. Both are just the latest of Nike’s hybrid endeavors, so expect more on the way. We’ll let you know when these Air Max hybrids drop. via chajinyoung.

Nike Air Classic BW Textile White Silver

Take a look at this new colourway of the Nike Air Classic BW. It’s takes on a two-face approach, as the entire front half of the shoe is completely white while the rear portion features a red bottom sole, red air unit, and silver trim on the heel. The uppermost section of lace eyelets is black, and a BW stampled shoelace dubrae makes its return to this classic runner. Can’t go wrong with mesh toes either, like the one in the recently previewed Cool Grey Nike Air Classic BW. You can grab your white-on-silver pair from Caliroots.

NBA Feet: Rasheed Wallace Nike Air Force 1 High PE White Green Gum

Rasheed Wallace returned from a foot injury for Monday’s game against the visiting Dallas Mavericks.  The Boston Celtics’ power forward must’ve wanted to take extra special care of his bum tarsals, cos he pulled out a very special Nike Air Force 1 High PE.  They don’t appear to be Torch-equipped like another PE he had earlier this year, but that one wasn’t as visually impressive as these in white and green with a gum sole.  Probably one of Sheed’s best AF1 PEs, you can see more photos of these after the jump.  Photos via YahooSports.

Jesse Leyva on the Future of NSW Footwear

A few days back, we got an inside look at how the DJ AM/DJ Premier Rivals Pack came together, courtesy of Nike Sportswear Global Design Director Jesse Leyva and yesterday it was a look into the Air BW Gen II and Nike’s Torch technology.  Today, Leyva takes us even further inside the NSW’s marketing mindset.  A lightbulb might go off in your mind when you hear him describing ‘modular’ design, and how signature elements and their combinations are the very stuff a brand’s identity is made of.  We’ve seen Nike Sportswear produce increasingly high-quality work since its inception about 18 months ago, and I defy you to watch the video after the clip and not expect more excellence to come.  via EUKicks

Nike Air Classic BW Dark Grey White Cool Grey

The Nike Air Classic BW is a certified cult hit amongst sneakerheads; the average passerby may notice more attention-grabbing kicks like the Air Max 95, but the BW holds just as much, if not more significance in the Air Max Line. The Persia Nike BW, U.S. Olympic BW, and the Stash x Nike BW stands as three bonafide blockbusters, and the re-release of the Nike BW definitely earned praise from shoeheads everywhere. This latest colourway utilizes two tones of grey, and is set off by a white swoosh. Yes, there are mesh toeboxes! These look to be a Euro exclusive for now, but you can still grab yours from JDsports.

Jesse Leyva on Torch Technology and the Nike Air BW Gen II

Nike’s new Torch material was developed to minimize use of leather and synthetics in an effort to ultimately create the utmost breathable and lightweight shoe. Nike designers took the Nike Air Classic BW and transformed it into the Nike Air Classic BW Gen II, which Sneaker News previewed months ago. You can now look at a video interview with Jesse Leyva, the Global Design Director for Nike Sportswear Footwear to get an inside look at the thought-process behind the development of Torch, which will surely be a prevalent theme in upcoming Nike Sportswear shoes like the Nike Lunarlite Rejuven8 Mid that released not too long ago.

Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch ND Black Varsity Maize Available

We’ve seen no shortage of previews, but it’s time for the hype to give way to lightweight, breathable performance.  The Nike Air Maxim 1 Torch ND takes last year’s Flywire-equipped update to the OG AM and adds what else, but the Swoosh’s new triple-layer Torch mesh.  This particular pair is fire in a LIVESTRONG-like colourway that wants to be worn for ‘lifestyle’ purposes with its white midsole and gum outsole.  Then again, they are Nike+ enabled, so make good on your resolutions and cop them from Schuh-You.

Nike Air Zoom Speed Cage+ 2

Nike has a good selection of Flywire-equipped runners on tap for Spring and Summer 2010.  One prime example is the Nike Air Zoom Speed Cage+ 2, shown above in an unmissable bright red getup.  There are green, black, yellow and blue stripes on the tongue’s laceloop, colours which all come in again on the outsole, just barely peeking out on the edges.  It’s an interesting look, and is available at Nike Sportswear retailers, including their Harajuku flagship in Tokyo.

Nike Lunar Hyper Ventilate ND New Images

Here are some additional pictures of the black/varsity maize colourway of the upcoming Nike Lunarlite Rejuven8 Mid. Quite the technological breakthrough, this shoe is; the feather-like weight of the Lunarlite midsole and breathability of Torch make the Lunarlite Rejuven8 proof that the future is now. The Livestrong-esque colourway doesn’t hurt either, but rest assured that a number of other colourways will be released as well. You can grab your black/yellow pair over at Wish.
