This colorway of the Jordan V is a tribute to Michael Jordan’s High School, Laney High. The White/Varsity Royal/Varsity Maize colourway matches the colors of his school, and his varsity jersey number, 23, is also stitched onto the heel. Here’s a fun piece of trivia: Michael Jordan actually did not make the cut during his first tryout with his High School team! It’s hard to imagine what would’ve transpired had Jordan never played basketball after High School. via Kixclusive.
