Air Jordan XII (12) 1997 Original – White – Varsity Red – Black

Air Jordan Xii Og White Red 01 570x379

Color: White/Varsity Red-Black
Style: 136046 161
Release Date: January, 1997

The second official colorway of the Air Jordan XII was the white/red colorway that released in January of 1997. The silhouette and flowing lines of the Air Jordan XII was inspired by the Rising Sun of Japanese folk culture, and the white and red colorway matched both the Japanese national flag and Chicago Bulls home uniform perfectly. Michael Jordan wore this particular colorway during the 1996-97 regular season for Home games. Despite being a popular colorway, it was not re-released as part of the Air Jordan XII Retro Collection, but did see a release in December of 2009.
