Earlier today, Supreme launched their three-pack of Air Force 1 Highs and to no one’s surprise, the online stock sold out in seconds. This was the iconic shop’s second go-around with the AF1 after dropping a trio of NYCO canvas Lows back in 2012, and although the Nike Air Force 1 collabs are certainly few and far between these days, Supreme has proved that when done right, the market is still hungry for them. As we patiently wait for the next great AF1 team-up, we’re taking look back at some of our personal favorite Air Force 1 collab offerings from over the years.

Today marks the official launch of Derrick Rose’s newest signature sneaker – the adidas D Rose 5 Boost. Pumped with a brand new design and fortified with the innovative Boost technology, the D Rose 5 Boost aims to propel Derrick Rose back into the ranks of the league’s elite. Later this year, adidas will debut two new colorways to retail – a “Home” colorway which releases on November 6th” and an “Alternate Away” on December 4th. Both pairs will retail for $140 and will be available at adidas Basketball retailers worldwide, so get an official look below and stay tuned for more on Derrick Rose’s progress and his latest signature shoe.

Another quick look at the upcoming release known as the Nike KD 7 “N7″ is upon us, and this time, we’re treated with a slightly better look at the intricate gold graphics that sits on the Hyperposite heel. There are definitely some Native American vibes in that design, with some tribal graphics that remind us of totem poles acting as the primary concept for this year’s N7 KD sneaker. Jordan Brand’s upcoming “Slam Dunk” Pack is a perfect example of mutual admiration coming full circle. When Japanese manga artist, Takehiko Inoue, created the 1990s series “Slam Dunk”about a high school basketball team, he honored Michael Jordan by modeling the team’s uniforms after the Chicago Bulls gear and then went one step further by outfitting main character, Hanamichi Sakuragi, in the iconic Air Jordan VI model. The inclusion of the beloved shoe helped Slam Dunk gain notoriety beyond manga fans, making it something of a cult phenomenon in sneaker circles around the world as well.

Nike continues the honored N7 tradition, releasing a set of uniquely designed footwear and apparel created to bring sport and its benefits to Native Americans in aboriginal communities. This first look at the Nike KD 7 N7 reveals a brand new graphic design placed on the Hyperposite heel as well as the N7 logo on the tongue of the left sneaker.
