The Air Jordan XX9 will keep the Infrared 23 trend alive when it picks up on that very specific shade later on in the year. The height of the wave for that color is in the rearview at this point, but we’d say that it still makes sense for Jordan Brand to drape their latest in a shade so central to the Air Jordan story. The Air Jordan XX9 “Riverwalk” is definitely the most unique pair amongst the crop of Air Jordan XX9 Holiday 2014 releases that we’re previewing for you today. The shoes ignore any typical Jordan Brand color schemes and instead don a purple elephant print look that’s blended into the upper’s performance woven build. Apparently the fluorescent colorway worn by the shoes is meant as a tribute to the 1996 San Antonio All-Star game – hence the “Riverwalk” nickname. Find more photos on the Air Jordan XX9 “Riverwalk” below and watch for them to release on October 11th, 2014.

air jordan 13 retro black varsity red 1 A Detailed Look at the Air Jordan 13 Black/Red For December 2014

The Air Jordan 13 “Black/Red” is another of the non-OG colorways lined for the Jordan 13 this year. Although they definitely could pass as an original – they’ve got the standard black and red colorway in place that would no doubt have earned them a “Bred” moniker were that spot not already occupied as far as this silhouette is concerned. The materials are a surprise as well, with the dimpled upper being that familiar tumbled leather variety from the Playoff/He Got Games, and the suede panels offering up that OG flair as well. This time around we’re giving you a bit of a better preview of the shoes, so make sure to flip through the photos waiting below on the new Air Jordan 13 “Black/Red” and stick with Sneaker News for this December, 2014 release.
