The Nike Air Max 1 is a shoe that has spawned no shortage of offspring in the form of tech updates and hybridization. This season alone, we’re welcoming the new Air Max 1 Breathe that applies Hyperfuse tape to the traditionally sewn areas, and this other style pictured above that takes a very different approach to its seamwork. The WMNS Air Max 1 Cut-Out is a design that emphasizes three key areas on the AM1 silhouette by creating space between the panels that in this case reveals orange peeking out from the base layer. Check out more angles after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on this pair probably dropping sometime in the next six weeks or so.

Stefan Janoski’s Nike Skateboarding signature shoe is so perfect, it hardly needs a sequel. Instead, year two gave us a midtop variation and now we’re approaching the five-year anniversary with just those two core models. Added to the Jano family this spring was the Nike SB Stefan Janoski Max, which adds a casual feel by way of the breathable running-inspired mesh bootie and sole. This pair in Base Grey rocks a Bright Magenta Swoosh; click in so you can see more angles and let us know how this style just released over in Asia compares to the best Janoski Max drops to date.

The Nike Air Raid is now in the midst of a bunch of new colorways, having launched the University Red edition at the beginning of this month with two pairs scheduled to release the first week of May.  Here’s another new upcoming style, which is apparently an Air Raid GS, sporting a playful if slightly feminine cast of accent shades on an otherwise greyscale design.  You might not see it at first glance but these are pretty similar to a pair of Internationalists that just hit for the ladies over in Europe, so stick with Sneaker News to find out when these Air Raids will drop.

adidas mutombo tr block 0 adidas Originals Presents The Mutombo TR Block

The return of the adidas Mutombo line hits another gear this year with two different pairs from the middle ’90s making a comeback.  The Mutombo 2 is scheduled for May and a few days before the flip of the calendar, we have the first ever release for this trainer that ended up on the cutting room floor back in the day.  The adidas Mutombo TR Block should fare pretty well today given the positive response to Dikembe’s retros, the popularity of the midfoot strap and a Miami-leaning colorway.  You can see more photos below, then cop yours from Three Stripes stockists like Wish.

The upper is Base Grey with the Dark shade coming in on the toe tessellations and carbon fiber-textured heel counter, while purple eyelets and soles make these right at home at Staples.
