Engineered Mesh allows the Nike Kobe 8 System to render just about any kind of graphics you could imagine. Several have been snake-themed as is the case with every Black Mamba signature from Nike Basketball, but this latest revelation opts for a more universal appeal. Done in a Knicks/Thunder-leaning colorway, the Kobe 8 employs a new streak at approximately Swoosh height as part of a larger deployment of wavy gradient fades. With the Phoenix Suns colorway about to drop, the next Nike Barkley Posite Max colorway looks like it’ll be this pair pictured above. Mixing a Metallic Silver Foamposite shell with a Gamma Blue-speckled black nubuck upper, this is the first Chuckposite to skip the overt theme/nickname route. There is indeed a bit of that ‘Area 72′ vibe lingering with the splatter print’s stellar implications, but these have a distinctly cool vibe that’s perfect for the summertime. Just how big is Sanrio’s Hello Kitty? To put it in perspective for sneakerheads, no other brand or retailer has collaborated with Reebok, Ubiq and Vans all in the last year. The latest example sees Hello Kitty’s universal appeal gives this new Vans Authentic an extra kick. White on red character outlines make for an interesting pattern without turning the shoe overtly cartoonish and blue details finish off a solid summer colorway. The Reebok ERS 1500 takes its looks from a 1980s RBK running series, but this new for 2013 model has done pretty well for itself with ’90s color schemes. Following up on January’s black plus Blue Steel/Aubergine pair is an even neon-er design, albeit one with similar restraint. Vivid Charged Green (though they appear a bit more yellow in these shots) and pink hits set off an otherwise white/grey/black design. This one is joined by the first blue/orange colorway previewed back in October, which brings us up to date with any future pairs as yet unannounced. Looks like the Nike Elite will step up to fill the 1980s suede and nylon role for Nike Sportswear here shortly. With upcoming VNTG and Tape releases, the Elite is in a position to battle New Balance and adidas Originals classics, and now we see even more on the way. This latest colorway is a timeless mix of Pure Platinum and Wolf Grey with an Electric Orange Swoosh and just a hint of blue. With last week’s Poison Green release, all of the Nike Flight ’13 Mids we’d seen previewed have hit retail. Here’s something to look forward to, as we see this sleeper hit take on its most expressive colorway to date. Combining University Red, black and Stadium Grey, the Flight ’13 coming up later this year has a bit of overlap with the hotly anticipated ‘Fire Red Nubuck’ Air Jordan IV. We never saw a Flight ’89 quite like this, so it’s sure to be a popular drop; the only question is when? Stick with Sneaker News to find out, and check out some more images below in the meantime.

It’s been a few weeks since most of the superhero-themed releases from Nike Basketball and Sportswear arrived, so that makes this latest delivery a nice surprise. The latest Nike Dunk High features a tessellated side panel just like the ‘Superhero Pack’ that dropped in early April. This one has the same galaxy-ish tongue tags, but goes for a more traditional basketball colorway in the classic ‘bred’ pairing.
