Throwback time: This vintage video from a”War of the Stars” segment back in 1986 features Michael Jordan playing a game of H.O.R.S.E. and some 2-on-1- with young movie star Charlie Sheen and his father Martin. Of course, if Jordan played with his trademark competitive spirit, he would’ve taken the W, but father and son Sheen came out winning at the very end. The shoes? Not Air Jordan 1s, but what appear to be the Big Nike High in a red/white colorway. Check out this video below or bookmark it if you want to watch it later!

Mid-1990′s basketball sneaker fans will recall that learning about the newest sneakers meant you had to watch NBA games to see what was on the players’ feet. The Nike Air Way Up was one of those models that had us wondering “is that the Air Max Penny”, only to learn that these were a takedown model of that signature model. Still, the Air Way Up was one of the more popular models back in the day, and while it many not have the instant draw like a signature shoe does, 80′s babies will love that these came back this year! The Hyper Blue/White colorway is beginning to hit stores, so check out the photos below and cop a pair now from solesearcher73 on eBay.

The Air Jordan XIII made a mini-comeback this Spring season, with the “He Got Game” and the new “Squadron Blue” colorway making their way to retailers during the first two months of the year. It appears that an Air Jordan XIII-inspired trainer shoe was in the works as we get a look at four unreleased colorways of this new model; the upper has a clear Air Jordan XIII focus with a ventlated upper and a new outsole designed with ample grooves for maximum flexion. No word on a release this year (and it may even be a scrapped sample), so check out the four colorways below and purchase one of the four colorways from jilliancleary1974 on eBay.

The upcoming release of the Air Jordan IV “Fire Red Toro” has the AJ4 dominating the Jordan Retro headlines for two years straight, and it appears that its strong influence is being felt by some unexpected models like the Nike Air Force Max 2013. We just showed you the “Grape” colorway, but peep this “Fire Red Toro” colorway that features a tonal red upper with hints of grey around the shoes for a similar color profile as the Jays. Nike retailers like Renarts report a release on the 25th of this month, so enjoy the photos below and stay tuned for more updates on this rather interesting colorway.

The debate of “Jordan vs. LeBron” may never be put to rest, even if LeBron matches all of MJ’s achievements when its all said and done. But what we do know is that this “rivalry” of sorts started off as a young kid idolizing the game’s best, which explains why LeBron wore #23 throughout his basketball career up until his move to Miami. Sneaker customer Freaker Sneaks combined the two basketball legends (one established, another in the making) with the Air Jordan IV “LeJordan” custom, using the Air Jordan IV “Fire Red” as the base and adding some sick LeBron-centric logos around the shoe. The old “L23″ logo has replaced the Jumpman/Nike Air on the heel, while a Jumpman LeBron (wearing a Miami Heat uni) takes shape on the Flight label on the tongue (shouldn’t it have been LeBron in a Cavs uniform?). Definitely one of the more intriguing and borderline controversial customs we’ve seen to date, so check out more below and let us know if you think that after LeBron retires, his name should be regarded in the same level as Michael Jordan’s.
