nike huarache 2015 upcoming colorways A Preview of Upcoming Nike Huarache 2015 Colorways

The Nike Huarache line’s return to prominence has been a welcomed sight over the past year, especially when dealing with coveted retros like 1991′s Nike Air Huarache. This of course, has only shined a light on the upcoming Nike Huarache 2015 given all the anticipation for retro releases. The shoe’s aesthetic is rather jarring as a rope-like lacing system sits atop a Nike Roshe Run-esque base. The neoprene sock liner keeps the Huarache genes intact, and now we get to see a duo of new colorways headed our way after the turn of the calendar. What do you think? More photos after the break.

The line between luxury footwear and sneakers is getting foggier by the day thanks to luxury brands imitating classic athletic silhouettes and sportswear taking up an eye for premium detailing. Just look at Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan Future and Jordan Shine within the last year for the perfect example of the strange territory we currently occupy. Today we present the Jon Buscemi 100mm, a shoe with a vulcanized base, the name inevitably referencing running, and a look that points to the upper echelon. Hand crafted in Civitanova, Italy, the high top features full-grain calf leather and hand painted detailing throughout, but the real catch here is the closing mechanism featuring a chrome plated lock. What do you think of this luxurious lifestyle aesthetic? As always, we have more photos for you after the click, and if you’re feeling this Jon Buscemi 100mm, know that you can grab your pair here.

nike lebron 9 mvp alternate midsole ebay 01 Nike LeBron 9 MVP Alternate Sample on eBay

With LeBron back in Cleveland this year, he’s poised to make a run at another MVP given the narrative of returning home. No longer with the title contending Miami Heat, it seems like the entire country excluding the state of Florida went from hating the leading member of the Big 3 to embracing his new role as the leader of the Cavaliers once again. The memories of his time in South Beach still remain though, as this alternate Nike LeBron 9 “MVP” proves. Drenched in a Heat motif of a red to black gradient, this pair differs from the pairs released to public as a black midsole with red speckles is the only notable variation. Check out more detailed photos of this alternate LeBron 9 “MVP” pair after the break, and if you want this one of a kind memorial to LeBron’s 3rd MVP, pick up the model today via sole_nyc on eBay.

Nike’s obsession with the 1996 NBA All-Star Game is a bit curious as it isn’t necessarily a hallmark anniversary of the game. But with the likes of the Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” returning for the Holidays as well as multiple Jumpman silhouettes referencing San Antonio’s River Walk with a desert-sunset motif, this Nike Air Max Penny joins the ranks. The ominous black colorway accented by Orlando Magic royal blue never saw retail shelves despite appearing on Penny’s feet in the game, but now you can emulate the Magic once the sneaker heads to shops like Sneaker Politics this Saturday, October 25th. Stick around after the click to see what was once a Penny Hardaway PE in all of its pristine glory and let us know if you plan on picking up a pair.

Complex is back with another Sneaker Shopping installment this time with the Seattle Sounders’ own Deandre Yedlin. That original aesthetic translates off the field as well, as Joe La Puma took him to the adidas Originals¬†shop in SoHo to run through a couple of pairs. From discussing soccer classics like the adidas Samba and Gazelle transitioning into the lifestyle market to talking about the collaboration heavy lineup the three stripes currently occupies, there’s plenty to see here.
