jordan shine release reminder 01 Jordan Shine Release Reminder

The Air Jordan Shine will debut this Saturday, July 26th, 2014. The shoe has made news for its price point more so than its design – and at $400 it will be the single most expensive sneaker release in Jumpman history. But that doesn’t mean that the luxurious all leather upper with unique woven side panels won’t compete with other JB releases this weekend for a place in your collection. With two monochromatic looks in an eye-catching red or simple black, the silhouette went from a rumored Barneys exclusive to an eventual distribution that will have them at boutiques and big box stores. Continue onward for more from these two Jordan Shine pairs and let us know if you plan on grabbing the premium Air Jordan 1-inspired model when they arrive at select retailers like Packer Shoes this weekend.

The Air Jordan 3Lab5 “Black/Metallic” will release tomorrow, July 26th, 2014. The sneaker is a surprising addition to the Jordan Lab series after the Air Jordan 5′s run last year was seemingly over, leaving many to believe that the Air Jordan 3Lab5 was going back into the archives. Luckily, we get the OG-like treatment atop the Air Jordan 3 x Air Jordan 5 mashup that dresses the upper in an all black elephant print while accents of metallic silver hit the shark teeth and midsole to contrast against the icy outsole. Find your pair at select retailers like Ubiq or see if you can secure your pair early on eBay.

Back at the top of 2012, Nike reintroduced the first sneaker to ever feature their patented Nike Air technology in the Nike Air Tailwind. The silhouette first appeared at the Honolulu Marathon in 1978 and up until this point in time has returned in a fairly traditional take on the retro featuring a suede and mesh construction. That all changes this summer as a new nylon take on the silhouette switches things up. This pair keeps things simple in a black and medium ash while a university gold swoosh adds a vibrant touch. As always, check out more images after the click and let us know if you’re feeling this understated Nike Air Tailwind by penning your thoughts in the comments section.

nike running genealogy pack release date Nike Running Genealogy Pack Release Date

The Nike Running Genealogy Pack is headed to retailers Thursday, July 31st, 2014. It’s hard to believe that Nike Free technology has been going at it for an entire decade, but to celebrate the occasion, the Swoosh has brought back some of their most important running silhouettes (and a few forgotten models – the Nike Sock Racer, anyone?) to bring to light the lineage and inspiration leading up to the debut of the free outsole. The colorways are fairly toned down featuring an ominous black upper while most of the outsoles get a clean cement grey speckle to finish things off. While the Nike Free Run 2 SP grouped in with this collection hit retailers back in May, you can grab the likes of the Air Presto, Free OG, Free 5.0 and more come 7/31. As always, stick around after the click for more from this upcoming Nike collection and reserve your favorite running silhouette today from select retailers like Concepts.
