The Nike Air Classic BW is definitely a classic in just about ever sense of the word. With a streamlined design, good colorways, and of course the Nike brand of quality assurance behind it, they’re some of the nicest kicks out there. This particular pair of Air Classic BW’s comes adorned in large gauge mesh, giving it a very unique look that a lot of mesh fans will definitely appreciate. While maybe not the most impactful of all kicks, it’s the details that matter most, and with the sick material choices, slick outline, and general clean looks of these shoes, they should prove to be a hit among those that like their sneakers as clean as possible. Available now at select Nike Sportswear retailers including Finishline.

The Olympics closed this weekend after three weeks of competition for the worlds best, the Jordan Olympian debuted at the Olympics but will live in Brand Jordan’s catalog. The Jordan Olympia was designed for the participating Team Jordan athletes to wear during the Games. The numbers 92-96-04-08 are engraved in the outsole of the shoe to commemorate the years Team Jordan athletes have competed in the Olympic Games. This would include Michael Jordan as part of the 1992 “Dream Team” in Barcelona and does not include MJ’s Olympic gold in the 1984 Olympics as “Brand Jordan” was not yet created. The inclusion of facts on the outsole is very similar to the Air Jordan X, which serves as the main inspiration for the Jordan Olympia. For superior fit, this light weight sneaker features a semi bootie tongue-less construction, a contour heel foam package, and a molded lining top cloth. For cushioning, there is a full length Zoom Air insole, a performance sock liner, a compression molded phylon midsole, and a midfoot TPU shank. This latest colorway is the above in white, silver, graphite and maize which is a Finishline exclusive.

This month Countdown Package, the seventh this year, is the combination of the Air Jordan V in white, fire red and black, along with the black and varsity red Air Jordan XVIII. While a similar Air Jordan V was released in 2006, this colorway is a retro of the original from 1990. Another interesting fact about this package is the Air Jordan XVIII was the last sneaker Michael Jordan in his last year in the NBA before retiring for the second and last time. The package will drop in stores tomorrow but tonight, the package is also available online now. Remember, coupons won’t work for the package.

The folks over at Jordan Brand had a hit on their hands when the Spi’zike was released and even now a year later after it’s initial release, sneakerheads and Jordan fans are asking for more colorways and releases of the Spi’izke. Upon seeing the success of the Spi’zike, it’s possible that Jordan Brand wanted to release more Air Jordan signature mash-ups for Jordan sneakerheads. The next model that they came up with is called the Air Jordan Six Rings, using a little piece of the signature Jordan that MJ wore when he one each of his 6 NBA Championship Rings with the Chicago Bulls. The reason that this shoe has been so well received thus far is because the first two colorways that are supposed to come out are in classic Air Jordan XI colorways of White and Black and Black and Varsity Red. The Air Jordan Six Rings are now available two colorways, one for men and two for kids, girls and toddlers. You can get them now at Finishline.com (remember coupons don’t work on Jordan products at Finishline) and Nikestore.com.

Nike has decided to release another youth lifestyle collection known as NYX, in addition to the preexisting 6.0 line. Nike has gone out of their way to emphasize that the NYX series is NOT at heart skate shoes it is instead being marketed as a true casual lineup, made for general use. This pack doesn’t go out of its way to be flashy, and is definitely going to be GR. However, the stated purpose behind these kicks is to create a solid youth brand, backed by clean designs, and Nike has definitely succeeded in doing so. These aren’t made to be kept deadstock; they’re pure lifestyle shoes, made to be worn down and abused! A new colorway of the Blazer from the Nike NYX collection just dropped at Finishline.com.
