The first round of the NBA Playoffs continued this past weekend, with the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs punching their tickets to Round 2 by way of a four-game sweep. For the fourth straight Playoff Game, LeBron James whipped out a different PE colorway of the Nike LeBron X Elite – this time in a Red/Black “Alternate” colorway. Some nice Air Jordans hit the court, like Kenyon Martin’s Air Jordan IX “Fontay Montana” and Joe Johnson’s Air Jordan XI Low. The adidas CrazyQuick was also spotted in several colorways, like Taj Gibson’s Red/Black colorway and the Black/White version worn by Iman Shumpert. More of NBA Feet is below, so check out NBA Feet below and stay tuned for more updates on the 2013 Playoffs.

Nike Sportswear has offered several examples in recent years of resurrecting long-lost series with warmly received new models. Here we see Three Stripes’ heritage division do something similar, offering a style that itself extends a model only brought back into the mainstream by a few months worth of retros this year. The adidas Originals Tech Super 2.0 is quite similar to its forebear, but two decades gave it a chance to try on new design elements like Torsion Allegra-ish overlaid Stripes and a pull-tongue setup you’d be hard-pressed not to connect to another Nike classic and OG Tech Super contemporary in the Air Jordan VI. Click through to see how the tonal camo underlay gives these a subtle boost and stick with Sneaker News for updates as we approach an August launch.

Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals by Originals capsule has been silent for about a month. Quietude isn’t something we typically associate with J.Scott, and indeed a gap like this just meant he was working on something new. This new Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Ostrich SLM is the closest you’ll get to a low-key style with this outrageous designer at the helm, a super-hightop blucher with buckles at the ankle and ostrich feather bumps from heel to toe. Click through to see more of this fine ostrich leather SLM after the jump, then grab yours at select adidas Originals retailers worldwide.

Most of the adidas Originals Tech Super colorways we’ve enjoyed this year have been low-key suede and mesh builds with just a bit of color. One notable exception was the Consortium WCAP pack, which applied an watercolor feline print to this once forgotten classic runner. Here we see Three Stripes take the animal print idea a step further, applying a snakeskin material to these upcoming colorways that adds both tonal depth and a texture you can feel. Check out both pairs in greater detail after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates as we approach the August drop date.

If you’re quicker than your opponents, it ain’t fair. And when you have three of the fastest guards in the NBA wearing the all-new adidas CrazyQuick on court, it creates an unfair imbalance on an offensive end – one that you can take advantage of in your game. With the help of A$AP Rocky, adidas Basketball is ready to unveil the adidas CrazyQuick as it is slated to release on May 1st in a slew of great colorways; check out this video with Damian Lillard, John Wall, and Jrue Holiday below and stay tuned for a release next week.

A final recap of the week brings some new headlines, as some of the NBA’s biggest stars bring forth some great PEs over the last two nights. LeBron James followed up his Home PE with a Nike LeBron X Elite “Away” PE, while teammate Dwyane Wade wore the Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore in an “Away” version. Monta Ellis countered with the Air Jordan VII “Hare” in a losing effort. Russell Westbrook brought out the Air Jordan XX8 “White/Black” PE, and KD did his own thing with the “Playoffs Home” colorway of the KD V Elite. Finally, Joe Johnson did his best against the Bulls while wearing the Air Jordan XI Low, while Nate Robinson countered with the Air Jordan XIII “Playoffs”. See all of NBA Feet below, and stay tuned for more as the weekend passes!

Just about a month ago, Sneaker News notified you that adidas Originals had linked up with Japanese fashion label Beauty & Youth to reissue the original Rod Laver colorway. Luckily for US Three Stripes collectors, this one has made its way across the Pacific to select stateside retailers, which means you can get your hands on this classic white/green adidas Originals Rod Laver with an upgraded cork footbed. Hopefully that means United Arrows’ ZX 500 OGs are also headed this way, but for now let’s focus on the opportunity at hand with more photos after the jump and availability beginning Tuesday, April 30th.
