So it seemed that we had all of the Easter 2013 footwear releases by Nike down pat, but we just received some enticing news: there will indeed be a Nike Lunar Force 1 “Easter” QS, but with a special twist. Based on the information we’ve received, these go beyond a simple sneaker release as some enigmatic details roll in; while the common denominator of this Lunar Force 1 “Easter” is an all-white upper, the outsoles vary in color. For now, we know of three colors included in this mystery “easter egg hunt” type release, with a bright translucent red, a classic gum, and an “icy” translucent sole”, but there may potentially be more colors in this set.
What’s more interesting is that the shoes seem to be individually numbered out of 100 pairs via a hangtag, but that could either signify 100 pairs in total or 100 pairs per colorway, but what we do know is that getting the red or gum-sole versions is all-luck – a true blind-box release. In any case, this is certainly one of the more unique sneaker releases we’ve seen by Nike Sportswear in recent memory, and copping a pair may require some legwork, so check out these photos below and stay tuned for more updates.

We’re about a month away from the ‘Superhuman’-themed Nike Basketball Elite Series 2.0 release date, and as a prelude, the Sportswear division has a couple of corresponding trios on tap. The first of these is the Nike Lunar Force 1 ‘Superhero’ collection, including this LeBron James-inspired ‘Galaxy’ edition. This design draws parallels between LeBron’s toughness and the galactic process of fusion culminating in the hardness of diamond around which his LeBron X is themed. These new photos prove the dramatic presence this design has in person, so have a closer look below and grab this model scheduled for an official release this Friday from NSW stores like Politics.

No matter how many innovations are made-no matter how many different uppers, shaved down soles, or brand new toolings are applied-it seems like the Nike Air Force 1 in its original form will still stick around. The latest survivor of that style is this new Nike Air Force 1 Low colorway, one which whips up a clean combo of dark grey and royal blue, the latter coming with just a bit of a tumbled texture on the side Swoowshes. The Nike Lunar Force 1 is one of the most recent sneakers in the Nike Sportswear oeuvre to pick up on a string of geographically inspired colorways. The meccas that are nodded to in this trio are NYC, Milan, and London. Of course we can pick out one city amongst those who can lay a much greater claim to the Nike Air Force 1 heritage, but that’s not the say that the European parts of this quick collection aren’t deserving of their own special SMUs. Canvas is headed for a major comeback this Summer 2013 season as we get a look at the classic Nike Air Force 1 dressed up in Squadron Blue canvas uppers. There’s nothing more that we can say to describe how clean these look, because the pairing of White midsoles and Gum outsoles are already a benchmark for a great Nike Air Force 1 release, and clearly the canvas and synthetic leather materials speak to how Summer-specific these really are. The unofficial “Godzilla” set of Nike Air Force 1 Low releases continues on this new colorway. The sneaker again puts on the crackled look, which shows up around the toe cap and along with side Swooshes, sort of as a sideways tribute to Charles Barkley and his appearance alongside Godzilla in the ad campaigns of old. Other details include some chunky stitching and a rather colorful set of laces. Canvas uppers, ring eyelets – that means one thing: Summer shoe alert. This latest Nike Air Force 1 Low release hits us in an incredibly clean combination of off-white canvas uppers paired with a jet-black synthetic leather Swoosh and inner lining, with a white midsole and Gum outsole completing the look. Simply said, these are one of the cleanest Air Force 1s we’ve seen in a while, and it doesn’t need a “Year of the Snake” or a Supreme outfit to give it that vibe because we’re certain the Air Force 1 fans already approve these without fail. Milan is instantly recognized for its high-end leathers and handbags, so would say this Nike Lunar Force 1 representation fits the bill? The woodgrain effect with the animal print sorta expresses the luxury, while the Black Tea/Cool Grey combo achieves that “expensive handbag” look, making up for a rather neat combination that we haven’t seen in Air Force 1s in a minute.
