The new “City Pack” of Nike Lunar Force 1 releases looks to be making its way back to the city that has long been looked to as the epicenter for the Nike Air Force 1 style. That would be NYC, which gets its tribute in the form of this obsidian flavored pair. The sneakers are upgraded with some 3M touches and just a little bit of pinstriping for the mid panels. After the release of the Galaxy and ParaNormans last year, it was projected that the 2013 release of the Air Foamposite One “Fighter Jet” would be met with equal fervor. However, some stores still have these in stock, and perhaps it was just a timing issue considering the following weekend was all about the Nike All-Star releases and the Air Jordan XX8 launch. Still, the “Fighter Jet” signature camo print continues its way through NSW’s models like the Downtown Air Force 1 and this Air Force 1 Low, which features the print on the Swoosh and on the outsole. A release date in the States is probably coming soon so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more info.

The Future of Force was unveiled in December of 2012, introducing the innovative Lunar technology to the most iconic basketball shoe in Nike history. Although the Air Force 1 is clearly a Sportswear selection nowadays, Nike is still working heavily on retooling the shoes with Hyperfuse, Foamposite, and Lunar tech. This clean combo of Red, Royal Blue, and Grey comes with a sick speckled midsole and dotted laces, with the exposed bootie at the heel giving these shoes that true space exploration appeal. Along with the long-awaited ‘Ironman’ edition comes another Nike Air Force 1 Downtown Quickstrike for March. The second of these AF1 Downtown QS releases from Nike Sportswear goes in a totally different direction, eschewing all manner of gloss and even color in favor of a luxurious black leather build that features a basket-woven base layer. So now you’ve got a choice where you’re going to spend $175 on a low-profile Air Force 1 lowtop, but with both releasing in limited numbers at select locations, you’ll want to make that decision quickly upon seeing more photos below now that they’re available at NSW spots like Social Status.

This weekend will see a handful of ‘Year of the Snake’ styles from Nike hit shelves-the group comprised of the Nike Kobe 8 and the Nike Air Force 1 Low. Of course the former has two separate silhouettes releasing, both picking up the Nike Kobe 8 EXT designation (You’ll recall that the Nike LeBron X ‘Cork’ also came with that three letter addition). Take a look at the Nike Kobe 8 EXT ‘Year of the Snake’ pairs along with the Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Year of the Snake’ in better detail right after the jump and watch for them to impact at retailers like NJ’s Sneaker Lounge this Saturday, March 9th.
