With the third installment of Robert Downey Jr.’s immensely popular Marvel movie series less than two months away from its May 3rd open, Ironman has been making his mark on the sneaker world this spring. Vans previewed a whole pack devoted to the comic book universe and the closest thing basketball has to a superhero got in on the fun when LeBron James himself ordered a pair of LeBron X customs with the Tony Stark look. There’s also an official Swoosh release with the familiar burgundy and gold look, as the ‘Ironman’ Nike Air Force 1 Downtown arrives with a glossy metallic construction at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Social Status.

Both Air Force 1 High and Mid feature velcro straps at the ankle, removable and fixed, respectively. For the Nike Lunar Force 1 Mid (or is it a High?), the top-end fixture is removed in favor of a design that emphasizes the upper’s Hyperfuse construction. You can’t go wrong with a Chicago Bulls colorway on this adaptation of a classic basketball masterpiece and speckling on the LunarLon sole is always welcome, so have a closer look below, then grab yours at Nike Sportswear dealers like Size?

When Nike iD introduced elephant print material to the Air Force 1, it was hard not to go crazy with the material and go full tonal (one Sneaker News staff member did just that). These upcoming releases of the Air Force 1 Low takes the reins and adds the iconic print in controlled fashion, opting for just the heel portions to give these clean and basic colorways a nice upgrade. There are certainly more colorways done in this fashion so check out the new photos of the Teal/Fuschia colorway below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates on release info.

As Nike iD continues to expand the options for the Air Force 1, do you think we’ll ever get to see a Dunk upper for a hybrid iD? If so, expect many sneakerheads to go for that Nike SB Dunk Force 1 look as we get a look at yet another one of these rare concoctions. This one’s done after the widely popular ‘Stussy’ colorway that dropped in 2005 – a colorway inspired by Neapolitan ice cream in the chocolate brown, pink, white and cherry logo on the tongue label. We’ve got a gallery of this Nike SB Dunk Force 1 ‘Stussy’ below so check it out and see the entire listing from thecoolshoeshine on eBay.

There’s no doubt that London has historically been more of an Air Max city than an Air Force one, but that doesn’t mean they’re not deserving of the tribute served up in this Nike Lunar Force 1 pair. The sneaker wears a criss-crossing plaid look that definitely pushes the envelop as far as patterns that we’ve seen on the Nike Lunar Force 1 platform. Continue reading for a few more angles on the Nike Lunar Force 1 ‘London’ and stay tuned to find out if they are making their way to US shores.

Following up on the ‘Area 72′ edition for NBA All-Star 2013 comes another black-based Nike Lunar Force 1 Fuse that goes in a completely different direction. These still have a bit of that interstellar vibe thanks to the white speckling on the LunarLon midsole, but that’s more of a reflection of the high-contrast colorway and its various means of mixing than an overt theme application. This Lunar Force 1 Fuse Quickstrike features nubuck welded to Hyperfuse on the upper, so have a closer look below to see how past and present combine on this new release, then grab yours at Nike Sportswear stockists like Hanon.
