The Nike Air Yeezy sold out immediately wherever it was released, Kanye’s Louis Vuitton’s are super-expensive and the Air Jordan VIII ‘Aquas’ haven’t retroed in quite some time.  What’s a Mr. West biter fan to do?  The next best thing to the Aqua 8s might be these Air Jordan Force VIIIs (AJF 8).  The heel ribbing that sort of foreshadowed the AJXII sunray stitching is something we’ve never seen on an Air Force 1 sole, much less one with aquatone on the heel and toe and bright concord in between.  If you like those, you’ll love the AJF8 in the OG home colourway.  This pair features a perforated leather underlay that perfectly matches the AF1’s toe.  Expect these in February, with the Aquas splashing down in March.  via SC

Get your comments ready, because we finally get a good look at the latest Air Jordan Force Fusion model, one of the more heavily scrutinized installments of the Fusion series. Like the AJF XIII, the Air Jordan VIII seemed like a difficult design to fuse with the Air Force 1 midsole because of the busy and intricate tooling of the original. We all know that the AJF 13 was met with quite a hostile reception from Jordan purists who were already turned off to the whole Fusion concept. The AJF 8 will likely provoke a similar reaction, but we have to admit that the hybrid transition actually went smoother than originally predicted. By now, you’ve likely already chosen sides of the Fusion debate, and while it’s unlikely that your minds will be changed by these, you still might find it interesting to check out a ton of detailed pics after the jump. We gave you just a peek at the surprise Air Jordan 1 High Strap upon learning of its release at the House of Hoops Houston, TX grand opening Saturday before last.  Turns out, this special release was accompanied by an Air Jordan Force IV (AJF 4) to comprise the Space City Pack.  A Houston HoH exclusive, the Space City Pack had both of these Jordan Brand updates rocking white patent leather along with red and blue accents.  Take a look at all the speckled goodness after the jump and keep your eyes peeled for these around the ‘bay.  via NK

Saturday, October 10th, 2009.  The day that the House of Hoops opens at Northline Mall in Houston, TX could very well be the last, considering the ridiculous fire hazard that’s sitting in there.  They really brought the heat for this opening, and while the Cherry Hill, NJ store got some love of its own with a duo of Philly Hyperizes for the occassion, when you get a look at the list of stuff they have in store, you might think somebody in Foot Locker corporate was from ‘Space City’.

The Astros and Rockets were both named for Johnson Space Center and each gets its own Hyperize, but that’s just the start.  Jordan Brand offers its own duo with the bred Air Jordan Force XIII (AJF 13) and a brand new Air Jordan 1 High Strap in white with navy and red accents.  Rounding out this apparently incomplete list is a huge run of reissues from earlier HoH-exclusives including, but not limited to (deep breath): Hypermax Tennis Ball Pack, Reggie Miller Air Total Max Uptempo PE, Air Penny II Retro in black and copper, Zoom Kobe IVs for Lower Merion and Rice, Zoom LeBron Soldier IIIs for Christ the King and SVSM, the Phi Slamma Jamma Big Nike High and the Hyperize Decades Pack (whew!).  Check out photos of these tape-cutting kicks in just that order and if you’re in H-town, head over to Northline and check it out.

Were his Comedy Central show still on the air, Dave Chappelle might have ammo for another ‘Haters Ball’ skit with this release.  The Air Jordan Force XIII (13) represents the biggest stretch so far for the AJF series.  Not only is the signature element of the AJF series, its Air Force 1 sole, altered to include the Air Jordan XIII’s sole pods, but the AJ13’s toe had to be resculpted to match.  If you like the way these came together, you can cop them from ID4Shoes on eBay.

The controversy whether or not the introduction of Fusions has degraded the sneaker game could be the topic of a lengthy debate amongst sneakerheads on the corner one afternoon.  Regardless what your view, hybrids and mashes of Nike and Jordan classics have come a long way.  The AJF13 is new to the roster of the success (or failure) of the fusion concept.  The dimpled outstep upper (which makes these look like the Scarface’s from the front), the 23 hologram, the cat paw midsole.  All facets that make the 13’s such a memorable sneaker, and when applied, make the Air Force 1 almost unrecognizable.  Enjoy the new pics, and expect these to drop in time for last-minute holiday shopping. via Kenlu.

Nelly was spotted out in London leaving his hotel with a crisp pair of the recently released Air Jordan Force Fusion IV’s (4) in Black, Varsity Red, and Stealth on. The rapper then was seen partying at London nightclub, Maya. Nelly is one of the few celebrities that we typically always see in Air Jordan’s, so it comes as no surprise that he’d have a pair of these AJF 4’s on. In addition, Nelly had on a nice Louis Vuitton fleece hoodie, that we’re sure cost a lot more than the shoes. via Gossip Center

Images of the first colorway of the Air Jordan Force Fusion XIII popped up a while back and were not greeted with a very warm reception. There are a lot of Fusion haters out there, but the AJF 13 seemed to cause more of a backlash than usual. Now we get a look at another colorway of the shoe, once again taking its inspiration from an OG color scheme. This time around, it will be the Black/Varsity Red treatment for the Air Jordan Force Fusion XIII, providing a slightly more subtle look than the first version, but still awkward enough that the anti-Fusion crowd will not be likely to change their mind about these anytime soon.
