With so many potential pick-ups coming up in the next couple of weeks, it’s hard to keep track of all the heat. What to cop? What to pass? What will I regret because of a pending budget? Though many ‘heads have long been over the Jordan Force assortment, other may be glad to be reminded of its release. Despite being abruptly set aside to fall short of being MJ’s last championship shoe, the XIII is still adorned for it’s “Black Cat” look, as well as the recognition that these were the last sneakers he wore with the Bulls in a regular season. So for those insisting that this still does justice to the Jordan legacy, pick em up tomorrow at Footlocker.

Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII – Aqua + OG Home – Spring ‘10

The Nike Air Yeezy sold out immediately wherever it was released, Kanye’s Louis Vuitton’s are super-expensive and the Air Jordan VIII ‘Aquas’ haven’t retroed in quite some time. What’s a Mr. West biter fan to do? The next best thing to the Aqua 8s might be these Air Jordan Force VIIIs (AJF 8). The heel ribbing that sort of foreshadowed the AJXII sunray stitching is something we’ve never seen on an Air Force 1 sole, much less one with aquatone on the heel and toe and bright concord in between. If you like those, you’ll love the AJF8 in the OG home colourway. This pair features a perforated leather underlay that perfectly matches the AF1’s toe. Air Jordan Force VIII (AJF 8) – Detailed Look

Get your comments ready, because we finally get a good look at the latest Air Jordan Force Fusion model, one of the more heavily scrutinized installments of the Fusion series. Like the AJF XIII, the Air Jordan VIII seemed like a difficult design to fuse with the Air Force 1 midsole because of the busy and intricate tooling of the original. We all know that the AJF 13 was met with quite a hostile reception from Jordan purists who were already turned off to the whole Fusion concept. The AJF 8 will likely provoke a similar reaction, but we have to admit that the hybrid transition actually went smoother than originally predicted. By now, you’ve likely already chosen sides of the Fusion debate, and while it’s unlikely that your minds will be changed by these, you still might find it interesting to check out a ton of detailed pics after the jump. These aren’t expected to drop until the Spring 2010 season, but in the meantime, take a look and be sure to let us know what you think of this latest Air Jordan x Air Force 1 concoction. We gave you just a peek at the surprise Air Jordan 1 High Strap upon learning of its release at the House of Hoops Houston, TX grand opening Saturday before last. Turns out, this special release was accompanied by an Air Jordan Force IV (AJF 4) to comprise the Space City Pack. A Houston HoH exclusive, the Space City Pack had both of these Jordan Brand updates rocking white patent leather along with red and blue accents. House of Hoops Houston, Texas Grand Opening

Saturday, October 10th, 2009. The day that the House of Hoops opens at Northline Mall in Houston, TX could very well be the last, considering the ridiculous fire hazard that’s sitting in there. They really brought the heat for this opening, and while the Cherry Hill, NJ store got some love of its own with a duo of Philly Hyperizes for the occassion, when you get a look at the list of stuff they have in store, you might think somebody in Foot Locker corporate was from ‘Space City’.

The Astros and Rockets were both named for Johnson Space Center and each gets its own Hyperize, but that’s just the start. Jordan Brand offers its own duo with the bred Air Jordan Force XIII (AJF 13) and a brand new Air Jordan 1 High Strap in white with navy and red accents. Rounding out this apparently incomplete list is a huge run of reissues from earlier HoH-exclusives including, but not limited to (deep breath): Hypermax Tennis Ball Pack, Reggie Miller Air Total Max Uptempo PE, Air Penny II Retro in black and copper, Zoom Kobe IVs for Lower Merion and Rice, Zoom LeBron Soldier IIIs for Christ the King and SVSM, the Phi Slamma Jamma Big Nike High and the Hyperize Decades Pack (whew!). Were his Comedy Central show still on the air, Dave Chappelle might have ammo for another ‘Haters Ball’ skit with this release. The Air Jordan Force XIII (13) represents the biggest stretch so far for the AJF series. Not only is the signature element of the AJF series, its Air Force 1 sole, altered to include the Air Jordan XIII’s sole pods, but the AJ13’s toe had to be resculpted to match. Air Jordan Force Fusion XIII (13) – New Images

The controversy whether or not the introduction of Fusions has degraded the sneaker game could be the topic of a lengthy debate amongst sneakerheads on the corner one afternoon. Regardless what your view, hybrids and mashes of Nike and Jordan classics have come a long way. The AJF13 is new to the roster of the success (or failure) of the fusion concept. The dimpled outstep upper (which makes these look like the Scarface’s from the front), the 23 hologram, the cat paw midsole. All facets that make the 13’s such a memorable sneaker, and when applied, make the Air Force 1 almost unrecognizable.
