Where there’s fire, there’s smoke. And where there’s smoke you’re gonna need a gas mask. Freehand Profit doesn’t have one of those for us this time, instead offering up a more straightforward mask creation. The piece is just a bit more conservative than usual, sourcing just one pair of the Air Jordan IV “Fire Red” in its creation. Continue reading to see the full photos of his handiwork, as well as a video featuring their display at Drunk Off Shoes in Montreal, and make sure you chime in via the comments regarding this bit of Air Jordan sneaker art.

Russell Westbrook is among the NBA’s truly elite talents; just ask Kevin Durant how much of an impact he makes. That’s why Jordan Brand chose him as one of the Jumpman’s youth movement representatives, and a young baller can further relate to the twenty-four year old Westbrook as represented in this new spot for Champs Sports. Backed by T.I.’s ‘Go Get It’, ‘Game Starts Here’ shows how Jordan has you covered head to toe this summer, both on the court and off. Three summery styles are emphasized in ‘Grape’, turquoise and citrus; let us know your choice after watching the video below.

Sure JR Smith’s shot was pretty off for last night’s Knicks game, but at the very least his sneaker game was on point. Smith went ahead and borrowed an Air Jordan V player exclusive from teammate Quentin Richardson, a dude who isn’t exactly getting the minutes these days to put them to use. As has been the custom for JR as of late, he switched them out at half time for a more performance oriented wear in the form of the Nike Hyperdunk 2012 Low. Continue reading for some shots of JR Smith in these slick Knicks-colored Air Jordan Vs and give us your thoughts on his retro wear in the comments below.

Remember the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’89, that hybrid style that blends the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan IV? A new colorway has just popped up for the sneaker, one that pulls from the forthcoming “Green Glow” version of the Air Jordan IV. The Air Jordan IV “Grey Cement” comes into full view this time around, better showing off the muted grey/white/black upper that hits on this non-OG colorway. The overall look seems to line up pretty closely with the black and white version of the Air Jordan V that’s scheduled for a Holiday 2013 release, speckles and all. There’s no solid release info as of yet, but we’d imagine these will be battling for your attention at around the same time of the upcoming Air Jordan IV “Green Glow” release. Which one do you prefer? Let us know after you check the rest of the photos of this stealthy Air Jordan IV “Grey Cement” colorway below.

Are Kevin Durant and his various Nike KD V Elite PEs on the way out of the playoffs? It sure seems that way, as OKC has fallen to a near-insurmountable 1-3 in their current series with Memphis. And as one of the league’s premier sneaker stars wavers another stands strong, with LeBron James and the Heat happily pushing the Bulls aside and going up 3-1. Slightly unexpected sightings from this set of NBA games sneaker-wise included a very special Air Jordan V on feet for JR Brick Smith, a random Nike Air Force Max 2013 courtside for the Spurs, and the recurring LeBron Zoom Soldier fare on the feet of one Danny Green. Continue reading for all those and more in this edition of NBA Feet.

Quietly soldiering along with a huge year in Air Jordan Retros taking center stage, this old school-inspired style from Jordan Brand returns with a couple new colorways for May. The more immediately eye catching of this fresh Jordan SC-1 duo is a New York Knicks home look that apparently missed its April target date, but is well timed nonetheless with NYK currently facing their most significant playoff challenge in about fifteen years. This one is joined by a more conservative black/grey look, so check out both of them after the jump, then grab yours at JB retailers like Extra Butter.
