The Nike Air Classic BW has played itself into a nice groove in early 2012, this year’s models displaying an uncommonly sharp attention to the potential to blend its 21 year-old lines with the styles that dominate the ‘lifestyle’ corner of the sneaker market. This new pair in white with Wolf Grey trim is an excellent choice for a white summertime go-to, its orange branding a reminder that around the time the ‘Cool Grey’ Air Jordan XII hits retailers next month, this is going to be one of the hottest palettes in all of sneaker/streetwear culture. Get ahead of the curve and adopt this style before you get your Twelves, this new Air Classic BW available for the taking from Caliroots.

Sneaker News just showed you the first Nike Air Classic BW VT colorway and now here’s another coming to market this season with the same blocking pattern. You’ll notice here that the key to keeping this beautiful balance was switching the ‘light’ and ‘dark’ distribution, in this case fulfilled by the orange Big Window frame and branding, and the Anthracite suede upper, respectively. Maintaining this 85/15 split while reversing the polarity we saw on that earlier Wolf Grey edition makes for a different finished look, but one whose sufficiently impressive that it suggests plenty more solid designs that execute a similar recipe. Let us know which one is better when you click through for more images, and find these now at select Nike Sportswear dealers like Titolo.

Given how many of the recent pairs have been Euro exclusives, and that zero of those have come with high profile collaborators, it seems like most Nike Air Classic BWs sneak up on us these days. So while this new variation on the classic Big Window came out of nowhere, it’s pretty close to what happens every time the former Air Max IV is reissued. And speaking of pretty close, the Air Max Classic BW VT gets right at the heart of 1991′s flagship runner with a molded VacTech construction that gives a sleek, updated look to this timely Wolf Grey and white suede makeup. Check them out up close below and look for these at Nike Sportswear stockists like Titolo.

Before Nike switched to 100% post-consumer cardboard for their boxes back in 1995, the Swoosh’s signature packaging was an orange-lidded, grey-based box. That pop-top design had diagonal stripes on the grey part until ’93, a look that was referenced by the ‘Vintage Box’ Trainer 1 drop two summers ago. And while their large sections of white aren’t an exact replica of the old boxes’ colorblocking, this new Nike Air Classic BW does indeed resonate with that classic Beaverton vibe thanks to a white/grey/black base accented by bright orange hits on the places you might refer to as the ‘Persian Violet’ sections. US-based BW fans will no doubt be familiar with the Big Window‘s tendency to release as a Euro exclusive, so check out some new images after the jump and grab a pair from Nike Sportswear retailers including the UK’s End.

Aside from the recent Air Trainer 1 ‘Chlorophyll’ homage, each of the Nike Air Classic BWs released in the past two months have come with a different take on the same colorblocking template. This latest pair doesn’t need to worry about where it puts what, because with just black and Cool Grey on these new Big Windows, the placement is more or less defined by the former Air Max IV’s distinct lines. Check out how this greyscale build subtly flatters the BW’s twenty-one year old build in more photos after the jump and look for yours at Nike Sportswear stockists like Titolo.

There were two discrete bursts each producing a cluster of new Nike Air Classic BW releases earlier this year, but it’s been about six weeks since the last of those came to market. This latest pair just sneaks its way into the spring season window, its design one whose basic recipe we’d seen in action on the Anthracite and University Red February drop. These don’t at first seem all that similar thanks to a black and grey combo rather than multiple tones of the latter as utilized on the earlier edition, but a thorough examination of the blocking pattern reveals a 100% match. This begs the question: which one turned out better? If the above is your answer, look for them now at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Titolo.
