Each of the Nike Air Max 95+ BB colorways we’ve seen to this point have featured some manner of gradient, but not so for this upcoming Atmos collaboration. The Air Max 95+ BB pictured above in a stunning pristine white Hyperfuse upper whose Metallic Gold accents and icy blue sole give these some added style punch from your typical white on white look. This super clean offering has the makings of a perfect summertime shoe, but will they be for men or women or both? Shoesmaster gives us a preview that doesn’t look to mention the wmns tag, but the shoe is up on the atmosgirls site now, so it remains to be seen if both genders will get lucky with these. The Air Max 95 pushed the limits of what we’d come to expect from Nike’s signature cushioning platform, expanding its visible action from the heel where it’d been sequestered since 1987, all the way up to the toe for the first time. Fitting, then, as we see it come through in a couple new updates this season, that one of those would demonstrate the progress in Beaverton since we first saw Nike Air under our toes. The Nike Air Max 95+ BB adds the uncaged full-length Max Air unit that’s been running the flagship series since ’09, this white/grey-uppered pair nearing black on the soles so as to fit in perfectly with early 2012′s greyscale trend. Sneaker News just showed you how the classic ‘Neon’ colorway has been remixed on the Nike Air Max 95+ BB, so what about the color combo that might be the most popular in modern sneaker history? Turns out ‘Bred’ looks great on these BBs as well, this new take on the model previously known as Air Max 95 360 applying aggressive Sport Red streaks to an otherwise black and grey design. The name ‘Air Max 95 360‘ might be one that fits this shoe, but it’s not exactly the tidiest we’ve ever seen on a Nike Sportswear shoebox. Nike Air Max 95 BB is a small improvement in terms of keeping its numerology perfectly clear, but you wouldn’t be alone in associating two Bs with basketball. To the contrary, these AM95BBs are equipped with the running/training 360 Max Air cushion, though they do favor some of the best Nike Basketball models with the Hyperfuse upper construction. This ‘Neon’ edition is actually a bit closer to ‘Dunkman’ than the OG Air Max 95 thanks to its dark grey upper; how do all these one-degree changes compare to the legendary original? The original tag line for the debut of the Nike Air Max 1 was “Nike Air is not shoe”. Twenty-five years later, that notion holds true, because Air Max – aside from its performance value – has driven the sneaker game into collector madness with its classics taking the spotlight front and center. Many will confess to owning multiple pairs of Air Max 1s, 90s, and 95s, but let’s not forget that Air Max went beyond the confines or running and into training and basketball, creating its own legacy within each individual sport. Of course, there were the cult-classics along the way, like the nylon-uppered Air Max Deluxe and the ‘Spidermans’ in the Air Max 120 in the running sector, the Speed Turf Max, which will make a triumphant return later this year, and the LeBron 9, which continues to popularize Air Max in the sport of basketball that had been previously dominated by Zoom. Throughout the endless tech upgrades that have given been to the Nike Air Max line this year, the Air Max 95 has been mysteriously left out time and time again. Fortunately it looks like the designers out in Beaverton have finally figured out how to transfer the skeletal body of this 90′s classic to a more contemporary Hyperfuse upper, even adding the 360 air bag on bottom. The result allows for a bit of additional color on the layered surface of the sneaker, with the muscle-mimicking hits on the side being more visible than before. Fall 2011′s Nike Sportswear Hyperfuse line featured classic Air Max models like the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 redone in the Hyperfuse upper. While we haven’t seen other Air Max models with the same upper reconstruction (they are coming, though), the upcoming Air Max 95 360 appears to have the lightweight shell as the primary piece of the upper shell. Match that with a 360 Max Air unit and you pretty much have the the same cushioning and comfort of the Air Max 2011 or the Trainer 1.3 Max. These two upcoming colorways of the OG ‘Neon’ and a Grey/Orange will hit retail in during the Summer 2012 season, so check out detailed angles of both below and let us know what you think. via kumastock.

Eminem has had a long-standing relationship with Nike and Jordan Brand, resulting in some sick super-limited releases that are some of the most sought-after sneakers of our generation. Eminem’s got a thing for wearing Air Max shoes, as those are his sneaker of choice when he performs live; some of the Eminem x Nike Air Max collaborations we’ve seen included the Air Max 1, Air Max 97, and Air Max 360, although we’ve spotted him in the Air Max LTD/Wright quite often as well. Some of his Air Jordan collaborations are prized as well, like the Air Jordan IV and Air Jordan II, which fetch quite a the pretty penny in the sneaker resale market.
