The Nike Air Max 1 has been going hard on the suede looks as of late, but it’s been a minute since we saw the Nike Air Max 90 fully dipped in the look. Shown here is a duo that does the suede thing-one pair going for classic stone and the other going for hyper blue. Obviously the blue from the batch might be good for some extra mileage given how easily grey suede is going to pick up the grime, but far be it from us to steer you towards a particular pair. See both Nike Air Max 90 Essential pairs after the jump and see the preorders up for grabs from Afew.

Thanks to Nike Sportswear’s recent offerings, no sneakerhead is without a pair of Air Max OGs, validating that ‘Essential’ designation to other GR releases that have hit stores. Both the Air Max 1 and 90 were obviously well-received, so the folks over at Frenchy Store put the two shoes at the center of this creative stop-motion animation video, which features the Sport Reds and Infrareds running around the town and downing a cocktail in the process. It sorta speaks on how we should rock these kicks daily whenever we go out and about instead of keeping them locked in a box, so check out the complete video below and let us know where you rock Air Maxes when you hit the town.

OG Air Max love continues as we get a nice detailed look at the Laser Blue originals done in OG format. Arguably the most popular Air Max model in the States is the 90 (AM1 and AM95 fans get ready to plan your arguments), and the Laser Blue is unfortunately a forgotten colorway considering how powerful ‘Infrared’ truly is. A Retro release of the Laser Blues did go down a couple of years ago, but we figure this OG drop will be far better received considering how much more popular runners have become. More angles below, so take a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for release info.

We just saw a grey, blue and white combination on the Nike Air Max 90 Essential, but here’s a case where switching around their shades and placements makes for a big change. This new Air Max 90 is based in white leather, adding Neo Turquoise on the Swooshes and up the middle, in addition to some Obsidian hits in place of the aforementioned pair’s black elements. You can decide for yourself if this one has more promise for the spring and summer after you’ve seen more shots below, then grab a pair at NSW retailers like Finish Line.

Another original Air Max joins the fray as we get a look at the Laser Blue colorway of the Air Max 90 in ‘OG’ form. Like the ‘Infrared’ the re-graced store shelves not long ago, the Nike Air Max 90 OG ‘Laser Blue’ features the pre-yellowed treatment on the midsole for that added effect of ‘Retro’, although some 2010 pairs are still floating around if you’re not into that look and there is the EM version in the works as well. These are expected to hit retailers in late March, so if you’re looking forward to these, stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates and enjoy the photos below.

There’s something strangely familiar about this new Nike Air Max 90 colorway. Maybe it’s the interplay of Photo Blue accents with the white Swoosh/midsole and black mudguard — a template borrowed straight from the legendary ‘Infrared’ OG. The nubuck/leather/mesh mix offers another subtle twist on the established look, but the all Sport Grey upper is one of those blocking successes that could’ve only originated in the post-recession cleanup. These have been floating around at Nike Sportswear retailers and you can grab a wide range of sizes right now at Eastbay.

Concord is a long-established but rarely released shade of purple that only appears on its signature Air Jordan XI’s outsole. It’s been revived by Nike Sportswear for the first quarter of 2013, including new releases for a couple of Free-soled runners and this classic featuring the markings of another golden era icon. The Nike Air Max 90 utilizes the purple in question to set off a black and Cool Grey suede and mesh combo that adds a splash of Safari print to the mudguard. Have a closer look and be on the lookout for these arriving at select US shops as we speak.

The Nike Air Max 90 EM isn’t done suiting up in the most revered of AM90 colorways just yet. Next in line is the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Laser Blue’, the little brother of sorts to the ‘Infrared’ colorblocking that so many have come to associate the most with this silhouette. As you can see the OG palette is very much intact whereas the materials are not-the mesh of the old guard swapped out for Nike’s new Engineered Mesh technology. Hit the jump for all the photos and tell us if you’re feeling the Nike Air Max 90 EM ‘Laser Blue’.
