A new color meets the newest revision of a time-tested classic on the latest preview from Nike Sportswear. Atomic Teal (as well as its Dark version) is poised to be one of the ‘it’ colors for NSW’s spring 2013 lineup, and on this new Nike Air Max 95 Dynamic Flywire, we get a small portion maximized against the white/grey base. The latest update to one of the 90s’ most popular running shoes just made its way onto NIKEiD. But as evidenced by the dope Ultramarine/Solar Red and ‘Neon’ colorups on the way, Nike Sportswear has some great things in store for another big-bubbled AM95. The Nike Air Max 95 Dynamic Flywire combines Team and Gym Reds atop a black base with Metallic Silver hits including the namesake Dynamic Fit cables. Nike’s new Engineered Mesh textile is ready to take over the Sportswear heritage of Running footwear as we get a first look at Nike Air Max EM ‘Sunrise Pack’ in its entirety. Inspired by an early-80′s set of the Nike Running called the ‘Flame’ Pack, which featured the Nike Omega, Mulyr, Metro, and Track Racer, the Sunrise Pack features the entire History Of Air line-up done in Engineered Mesh style. Concordantly, we also get a first look at the Air Classic BW, Air 180, and Air Max 2009 built in this style, so check out the gallery of images below and look out for these at Nike Sportswear retailers this Spring.

Following up on the Hyperfuse trend of the past couple of years, Nike is again remixing some of its most beloved Nike Air Max silhouettes with a brand new technology. That would be Engineered Mesh, a perforated, proprietary material that allows designers to zone out different sections of the sneaker that require more or less flexibility. The Nike Air Max 1, Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Max 95, and the Nike Air Max 97 are all set to hit in January of 2013 in a group of OG colorways made futuristic by the EM designation. The newest “remix” of Air Max put out by the Nike Sportswear production company is the Nike Air Max 95 Dynamic Flywire, which combines the iconic Air Max 95 upper with a newly engineered full-length Max Air unit and visible Dynamic Flywire on the upper. You can now pair that diverse assembly with an equally eclectic colorway thanks to Nike iD, with a range from basic ‘Volt’ OG to a nice mix of colorways on the gradient, Flywire, Air bag, and more. With so many Air Max 95 colorways to have released in the last 17+ years, it’s like a fun game of “where have I seen that” whenever a new one pops up. This latest creation binds a few familiar ones, like a reverse gradient of the OG with one white panel short of re-creating the ‘Comet’, or even the ‘Lava’ colorway that came out a few years ago. What makes these stand out is the patent leather stripe at the very peak of the gradient and the snazzy red tongue, making for yet another must-have 95 release. Sneaker News has profiled a number of ‘City Pack’ designs from Nike Sportswear’s all new Engineered Mesh capsule. Should we take this second design with Tokyo tongue tags to indicate that the Honolulu, London and Tianjin will also get their own Nike Air Max 95 EMs? If so, expect them to come off differently than their Air Max 90 EM counterparts; the Tokyo edition here is a clean yet sporty grey and red plus white as compared to the higher-contrast Oregon Ducks-leaning 90. Nike Sportswear has four of its most famous classic running originals on tap as we move into the new year. Air Maxes 1 and 90 get the vintage treatment, but for the 97 and its predecessor pictured above, NSW sticks with the time-tested but not antiqued look. And while a VNTG AM95 is an intriguing idea, no one will say that NSW didn’t make the right choice in issuing the ‘Neon’ Nike Air Max 95 OG in the same style that made it famous some eighteen years ago. Count these among the Monday, December 31st releases that offer tons of new possibilities for 2013 and check out some new images after the jump below.
