Nike released packs of Transformers-themed sneakers around the release of Michael Bay’s first two films in 2007 and ’09, and while they were all exceptionally true to their inspirations, we doubt anyone in Beaverton expected things to get so literal in the wake of the third film’s DVD release. These aren’t the exact same models used in the aforementioned TF movie collabos, but that doesn’t mean these chopped up kicks don’t look like they just made that distinctive morphing sound. Models like the Air Jordan III ‘Pure’, Nike Air Stab and several others have been remade in robotic shapes that still preserve the shoes’ key lines so you can easily identify their natural form. Click through to get a look at the whole run created by TransShoe Formers and let us know which ones are the good guys.

The Nike Air Stability (or ‘Stab’ for short) returned in 2005 after a long while on the back-room shelf at Nike (some of you may remember the odd ‘Stabb’ designation on the box-tags). Some nice GR colorways as well as a special FootPatrol collab put the Nike Air Stab back on the map but one colorway that never made it into production is this Neon 95-inspired colorway. Three tones of grey on the upper with just the right splash of volt green on the upper will make you lose your mental Stab-ility but luckily for you your senses will go back in working order because Size? is bringing it back this December 3rd. Only 400 pairs of this beauty will be available exclusively at Size? so check out the extra shots after the jump because it’s been nearly a year since a Nike Air Stab was featured on Sneaker News! via wearehq.

Until now, the most famous guy named ‘Bling Bling’ on the internet was some dude from Miami who thought he could rap-communicate with spaceships. Recent SNKRFRKR interviewed Bling Bling Dave is decidedly less cracked out, well, except for his sneaker collection. Readily available and relatively inexpensive, most of the kicks in his 365 pair-deep shoe-a-day addiction collection are general releases. Matter of fact, any experienced eBayer would have seen a good portion of these available through liquidators at nice discounts. That’s what makes Dave’s collection unique. He’s not about keeping Hyperstrike heat on ice. This guy simply loves having a huge variety of sneakers, especially Nike Air Max 90s!

Exactly a week ago, you might have been sitting there in front of your computer reading up on what we felt were the biggest auctions within the AM eBay Memorial Fund. Did you bid on any? Even if you did, your $5 ante most likely was way out-bid by the crazy prices some of them finally ended up at. The Memorial Fund is definitely benefitting, selling a bunch of these shoes for more than double of their average resell value. The AF1 Playstations have already beaten the Pusheads $1225 mark. How how will they go!? Check out some new pairs that have been released onto the auction list since last week (including the Grammy Promo Dunk Hi’s previewed the other day).

A few weeks back, we brought you the good news that the Nike Air Stab would be the latest style to become available on Nike iD and it seems that with each new Nike iD release, the customizable options become more and more limitless. You may have already had some time to play around on the Nike iD site, but now the Air Stab has just hit the Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer iD Studio and as expected, there will be some new design options available when you create your kicks in the store, such as denim, mesh, distressed leather, patent and lace. Additional new colors, patterns, materials and graphics will be available when you make an appointment to get busy on your own pair. If you’d like to make an appointment you can call 212-226-5433 and start daydreaming about the possibilities. Until then, check out some sample designs after the jump and begin soaking up some inspiration. Via NikeSportswear.
