We’re still mildly befuddled by the ‘Phantom’ Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) and its shifting back and forth between metallic accent colours. Don’t confuse this as another version of that shoe, though, as this AML7 is going for a look all its own. Whereas the others were pretty much blacked out, save the metallic parts, these have a healthy dose of white on the mudguard, midsole and Swoosh. Perhaps the nicest feature on this pair is the dual-coloured Flywire strands. The black ones blend in, leaving the gold joints to pop as pinstripes. Here’s another one of those ‘almost-LIVESTRONG’ palettes, which looks quite good on the Nike Air Max 90. We know that young sneakerheads need some dope exclusives, but can’t help but be a little jealous about how well the neon yellow sections compliment a selection of greys that has some history with Jeff Staple. Then again, the toebox and ankle area are enhanced with a textured nylon. Cop a pair for your little one and light up their holiday with neon. Available from Shaolin8 on eBay.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII NFW – Red Carpet – Restock On The Way

As warmly as most sneakerheads welcomed the Air Max LeBron VII, the biggest buzz surrounding the shoe was perhaps thanks to the Red Carpet NFW edition. People went crazy for this crisp color scheme and classy woven upper, only to find out that the actual release would be extremely limited in quantity. The Red Carpets hit only four stores last Thursday and were sold out before most people even knew they had dropped. Now we bring you the good news that we have not seen the last of these beauties in stores. There will in fact be a restock of the eagerly awaited kicks at select House of Hoops and Foot Locker locations, so if you missed them last week, you should have no excuse when they hit shelves on December 3rd. Patta 5th Anniversary x Nike Air Max 1 – New Quickstrike Colorway

A few days back, we brought you a sneak peek of a new Parra Nike Air Max 1 collaboration that was initially thought to be a Patta creation. It turned out to be a Parra, further adding to many people’s confusion between French artist Parra and Dutch retailer Patta. Now that that’s hopefully all cleared up, we present a look at an actual Patta Air Max 1 collaboration that will be dropping as a Quickstrike some time after the green and purple AM1s that we have already shown you. This colorway features a nice blend of rich colors and materials, using sections of corduroy, denim and suede splashed with varied shades of blue, green and red. Nike Air Max LeBron VII Phantom – Black – Metallic Gold – Detailed Images

Back in August we gave you a look at the Nike Air Max LeBron VII in the black/metallic gold colorway, also known as “The Phantom.” A few months have passed and we have some great detailed images of these LeBron VII’s. The shoe is predominantly black, but that doesn’t mean these LeBrons don’t have some flare to break up the monotony. There are metallic gold details on the L23 logo button, lace loops and surrounding the Swoosh that pop off the black background very nicely. Adam Goldstein’s loss was not only a shocker in the high-brow celebrity realm, but also hit close to home for many sneakerheads, as he was just as popular to us for his collection of 900+ pairs of serious heat. As you may know, Deckstar and UNDFTD has started an eBay auction event which will provide all of its winning proceeds to the DJ AM Memorial Fund.
