Sneaker Con rolled through Atlanta for another stop, and while we got some unexpected celebrity cameos by Dr. J and Trinidad James (one is a little more likely than the other, here) there was plenty of on-feet looks to go around. From some Atlanta exclusives like the recent adidas Originals SL Loop collaboration with local shop Wish ATL to some fairly obscure Jordan retros like the Vashtie Kola x Air Jordan 2, be sure to check out the first batch of on-feet photos from Sneaker Con Atlanta and let us know which pair was your favorite by penning your thoughts in the comments section.

The Nike Air Max 1 has seen its fare share of changes over the years. In fact the models we wear today and regard as true and through retros of the originals even switched up the air max unit and downsized the main Swoosh to some extent. But the changes this past year have been some of the most dramatic in the shoe’s near 30 year history thanks to the inclusion of the lunarlon outsole and material changes like the above pictured Nike Air Max Lunar1 Jacquard. While the past varieties have kept things fairly the same in terms of a multicolor blocking ont he toebox and ankle support, this is our first time seeing the vector like pattern. What do you think? As always, we have more images for you after the click and while a stateside release is imminent, you can always jump the gun and pick up a pair from international spots like Size?.

Nike Air Max Thea Jacquard – Team Red – Action Red

September 21st, 2014 by | No comments

nike air max thea jcrd team red action red 01 Nike Air Max Thea Jacquard Team Red Action Red

The breathable knit material that is Nike’s Jacquard aesthetic is a nice entry level to flyknit, seeing as how the Swoosh doesn’t want to outfit seemingly every silhouette with the technology just yet. The JCRD movement has hit nearly every major Air Max model, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Nike WMNS Air Max Thea was the latest recipient. We’ve seen a number of patterns hit the upper of the runner (just look at the difference between the Dark Grey/Metallic Silver colorway and this vibrant red look). The pair features a new gradient outsole fading from Action Red to Team Red while an array of lines gives the sneaker a forward motion motif. What do you think? Check out more photos after the click and know that this pair is available at international spots like Titolo today.

The Nike Stefan Janoski Max is a shoe that’s got a bit more going on than its name suggests. Yes it’s got the bubble on bottom, but it’s also got a little bit of Nike Free nubbing, and in this case a sort of jacquard looking upper. We suspect that this particular iteration won’t have quite as a long a life as the baseline Janoski, so if you’re interested in them then be advised that they won’t be around forever. Browse imagery on this “Wolf Grey” creation for the shoe and then tell us if you are indeed interested.

Since launching late in 2013, the Nike Air Max Flyknit has remained a quiet contributor in the realm of Nike’s running line. The often premium price point makes this shoe a kind of recluse, but you can’t go wrong with the gradient outsole the 360 Air Max unit while the upper is supported by an array of colors thanks to the inclusion of Flyknit. The most recent pairs have all featured some tie to orange, and this pair is no different as it follows in the footsteps of covetable colorways like the Atomic Orange/Vivid Blue-Volt look. But where those pairs add in splashes of colors on the colder end of the spectrum, this Flyknit Air Max opts for reds and oranges throughout. Stick with us after the click for a better view and know that you can pick them up from European Footlockers today.
