Nike and Pendleton are back with a new collaboration for Fall/Winter 2014. The teaming up sees the two Oregon brands pick up right where they left off, as the Woolen Mills’ iconic material arrives on a number of silhouettes featuring tonal plaids in a look that should be a perfect addition for the colder months as the year comes to a close. With 8 models ranging from the likes of different incarnations of the Nike Roshe Run, Stefan Janoski line, and numerous Air Force 1s, 10 leather options and a number of flannel prints combine for an original take on each sneaker. Nike Air Max 95 “Halloween”

October 6th, 2014 by | No comments

nike air max 95 halloween 2014 01 Nike Air Max 95 Halloween
Holiday sneakers usually come adorned with an array of cliches, from Christmas pairs donning the festive red and green to pastel tones on the most head scratching of celebratory sneaker days as Easter. Luckily, the Swoosh kept all of those in check for this Air Max 95 “Halloween” pair, ditching any trace of deep purples or jack-o-lantern inspired oranges for a mysterious tonal grey aided by a beige canvas base. The most interesting detail on this Nike Air Max 95 has to be the bloodshot eye tongue patch, but the goo-ish green on the lace holders and air max unit (we’re guessing these portions glow in the dark) is a close second. Check out more photos after the break and be sure to let us know what you think of this strange Air Max 95 in the comments section.

Are you ready for the next installment of the heralded Air Max series? We shouldn’t expect an official release until late December, but we’re bringing you an advanced preview of the Air Max 2015 silhouette that compiles some of Nike’s best technology onto one shoe. You’ll notice the Dynamic Flywire, Engineered Mesh, and tape-seam construction, but what makes the Air Max series such a prize is, quite obviously, the bulbous unit that sits at the bottom of the shoe. Get a look at the entire shoe after the jump and let us know if you’re looking to add these to your Air Max legacy collection.

The Nike Air Penny line occupies an interesting spot in the Nike Basketball range in terms of its new releases, with former Nike Sportswear designer Marc Dolce doing his best to breathe new life into the range. They definitely haven’t ignored the 90s designs that got things started for him though, and they’ll again shine a light on them with this year’s retro of the Nike Air Max Penny. On the way is this red and white combination, which unfortunately doesn’t have a release date attached just yet – although you can find some a little early on eBay.

There’s no doubt that the Nike Air Max Lunar1 isn’t exactly a road running shoe – you won’t find them on the finish line of any serious marathons this year. With that being said, the shoe is still being linked up with such a race in this “Chicago Marathon” release. The pair features some “Own Chicago” branding as well as aglets that reference the day of the race. Browse the official imagery on this just released pair of Air Max 1s and then get them for yourself straight from Nike ahead of next week’s race.

The Nike Air Max 90 Sneakerboot is back and bigger than ever this year, which means that you’ll be able to rock with that Tinker Hatfield masterpiece throughout the winter months. Then again, the shoes are a pretty huge departure from the original Air Max 90 shape, so we can understand if you’re feeling averse to the Sneakerboot range. Ending up a bit more traditional but still wearing a winter designation is this quick trio that’s starting to pop up at overseas retailers now. Get a good look at the Nike Air Max 90 “Winter” pack below and tell us if you’ve got a favorite among them.
