releasing this weekend 8 19 14 Sneakers Releasing This Weekend July 19th, 2014

With Friday upon us, it’s time to shift our gaze towards the coming days and discuss which sneakers are releasing this weekend. There are two pretty clear headliners: the Air Jordan 3 “Wolf Grey” and the Nike Air Max Lunar90 “Moon Landing”. The former should be straightforward in terms of its release but the latter should be more difficult – the “Moon Landing” joints will be at boutique shops on Sunday and at NikeLab online (We have a feeling NikeLab brick and mortars will drop them as well). The classic Air Max 95 receives yet another boost in color – not that it needed the help. This ffade of blue on the upper is met with a black mesh at the lace collar, with a Bright Mango accent hitting the Max Air unit, the tiny Swoosh, and other areas around the sneaker. These were originally spotted at JD Sports, but unlike the other sick 95s that hit the UK store shelves, this one isn’t exclusive to them! Sneaker Politics has them ready for pick-up if you’re interested, so get a better look after the jump before you dive into your wallet.

We’ve already seen one installment arrive at retailers in a tonal “Neutral Grey” that saw just the right amount of red on the branding, and now we get a pair of the classic 1987 runner in a black and dark grey. While the Swoosh seems as dedicated to redefining the original Air Max silhouette thanks to advancements like a Lunarlon outsole and a hyperuse/tape combination on the upper, we’re glad to see the premium look return true to the original form. Stick around for more of the latest Nike Air Max 1 and while a stateside release hasn’t been confirmed just yet, you can grab a pair via international retailers like Titolo.
