Ronnie Fieg’s latest Asics collab revelations don’t just have orange accents in common. The above pictured Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III ’New York’ sees Mr. Kith lovingly apply his hometown’s colors to the silhouette he knows inside and out. This Knicks/Mets look is mostly suede but adds reflective elements, and you can bet there will be more lace choices to go along with the always popular ticked cord style. We don’t really see Asics Gel Lyte IIIs pop up with the ladies designation in terms of colorways, but if we did it’s safe to assume that this pair would be in there. This take on the split-tongue classic goes suede and mesh on the materials tip and then brings a pretty heavy helping of pink and purple aboard as far as the colors are concerned. See some catalog style shots of the Asics Gel Lyte III shown, an August 2013 release, and let us know if you’re hoping for their arrival on US shores. And if you don’t have too much faith in that, grab a pre-order from the team at Inflammable.

It’s amazing what the right selection of patterns can do for a sneaker. Asics should know that by now by looking at the super strong reaction garnered by the upcoming Asics Gel Lyte III “Print Pack”. Also featuring the printed look, albeit to a scaled back degree, is this October 2013 version of the Asics Gel Saga II. The sneaker sports a covert camo touch on the insole, a detail that we will also seen on the Asics Gel Lyte III later on this year. Check out the images after the jump and pick up a pre-order on this Asics Gel Saga pair now from Inflammable.

Asics brings back a classic style that we saw just a few years ago but left little evidence behind. Hopefully this run of Onitsuka Tiger Stormer runners will be more expansive and visible, because the precedent set by these first three suede and nylon compositions is quite strong. These give new variety to the classic running sector (which by definition, can’t expand beyond the established past), but will they have the appeal to stand toe to toe with Asics legends like the Gel Lyte III? Let us know after you’ve seen more images below and stick with Sneaker News for updates.

In early January, Ronnie Fieg revealed a pair of Asics Gel Lyte IIIs dubbed the “Super Green“, only this particular design would never hit retail. Instead, the 300-pair run would be donated to the needy in Haiti through the Soles 4 Souls charity – an organization that has donated over 19 million pairs of shoes since 2005. Thankfully, Ronnie’s photographer Pete Forester logged the events of the donation through his camera, giving us a first-hand insight to the great work done by Souls 4 Soles and those who participate in the movement. Check out the gallery of photos below, and see the Souls 4 Soles website to see how you can lend a hand.
