Bape continues their theme of the recent polka dot release, but this time the colorway is toned down for those looking for something not as loud. The Bape White Polka Dot Pinstipe Madstas (or Bapestas) feature patent leather with printed patterns that play off of Bape’s signature white camo print colorway. However, these may be a bit harder to get since they are a Nigo’s Favorite Shop Exclusive and only available to residents in Japan with a Bape Membership Card. But you can also cop them at Cliffedge.

Taking a break from the more casual and subtle tones of late, Bape returns to the bold and envelope pushing colorways that they are known for. Two brand new Polka Dot Bapesta have released drawing inspiration from the infamous Bape Multi Color Camo Colorways. Recently A Bathing Ape has been pulling away from the bright colors and flashy materials to play with a more casual and mature look. Their newest drop continues to follow that trend. Here we see the newest Apesta models in a high top and low top version. Bape used several different light, dark, and pin striped denim fabric materials to give these Apestas a casual and somewhat classic retro appearance. The shoes feature the classic A Bathing Ape ‘Rope Logo’ screen printed on the heel, and the infamous ape head is apparent on the rubber heel tab as well as the tongue tag. Available now at Cliffedge.

Every so often Bape releases a series of shoes to go with each colorway of their infamous Bape Camo. In Japan these are popularly referred to as the ‘Color Camo Stas’ and have appeared numerous times in the Madsta and Roadsta body styles with varying colors and textures. This time around Bape has chosen the newer Roadsta model. Each of the seven colorways plays off their own signature Bape Camo Colorway which can be seen in everything down to the classic Bape Camo pattern in the heel bubble. Bape also chose a subtle leather over the patent leather they are notorious for, giving the shoes a bit more of a casual monotone look. Bape’s newest high fashion knockoff appears to be the Adidas Stan Smith classic tennis shoe, but of course in Bape fashion they have named it something else. Here is the Bapesta Squash, now available in four colorways including White/White, White/Navy, White/Green, and Navy/White. Using traditional Bape leathers and materials they have given the Stan Smith quite the makeover and seemingly are trying to make this shoe as popular as the Bape Converse look-a-like. You can pick these up at various Bape stores or visit Cliff Edge.

Bape Hong Kong will have four new colorways of the Roadsta this coming Saturday February 2nd. The colors are pretty fresh for the spring! Each a different flavor for different tastes from the low player all the way to a Cam’ron-pimping pink colorway. The four are available at Bape HK but should be at the rest of their chapters as well. A Bathing Ape has released a new model dubbed the, Bapesta 88, inspired by late 80’s footwear models from Pony and Converse. These shoes are now available and come in five different colorways that are all less flashy than your average patent leather Bapesta. A Bathing Ape has gotten together with Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and will be releasing a series of products soon. Here we have the Bapesta that features the classic Bape patent leather with a few hints of Spongebob himself on the heel. No word on the exact release date of the shoe but the line of Bape x Spongebob products should be hitting Bape stores early 2008. via CONOPE

Nice collaboration between Tatami and A Bathing Ape on the classic Birkenstock model. They were released back in April of this year so they will mostly likely not be in stores anymore.
