The most recent Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer to make a splash was the ‘Think Pink’ version, a bold breast cancer awareness colorway. This upcoming Hyperenforcer goes the opposite way color wise grabbing just black and white for the upper, but still manages to be unique with the striped look on the various panels of the shoe. The result really shows how far the the black and white approach can be stretched given a little geometric detail, with the patterning not quite reaching Freegums levels but still standing out. Nike Air Foamposite One – Electrolime – Black – Another Look

With all the commotion about the ‘Galaxy’ colorway slated to release on the eve of NBA All-Star 2012, be careful not to overlook the Nike Air Foamposite One release a short while later that we’ve been watching for a good while now. The ’Electrolime’ Air Foamposite One gets back to this model’s uniformly colored heritage with a new shade so vibrant that these have managed to escape the Iowa/Wu-Tang/Pittsburg/LIVESTRONG typecasting that seems to all too often pidgeonhole black and yellow designs. These also feature just a hint of navy blue on the ’1c’ logos and insoles, perhaps the tiniest reference to University of Michigan star Chris Webber who wound up wearing his college colors again in Golden State where he was traded for Penny Hardaway on Draft Day 1993. Who rocked the best kicks over the last two nights? That title might go to Jordan Crawford and his Air Jordan V ‘Raging Bull’ in a losing effort against the Knicks, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t other heat! Quentin Richardson rocked the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’, while the Chicago counterpart popped up on a few more players like Demar DeRozan, who has been exclusive to the Kobe VI for a while. LeBron James wore the Black/Red PE of his LeBron 9 again, Jordan Hill of the Rockets wore the Air Flight ’89 in a fitting colorway, and Jeremy Lin continued the Knicks’ ‘Linning’ ways with the Hyperfuse Low.
