Pretty much everybody is happy about all the Air Jordan XII Retros this holiday season (well, probably not adidas). Here’s a new Nike Blazer High for women that uses a ’sunray’ stitch just like the Twelve. These use a black leather base and add gold stitches. The Swooshes are metallic, so when you see how the stitching doubles up around the old school ‘NIKE’ heel tab, you might think of bike spokes. Toss in a cricket emrbroidery on the tongue tag and this is quite a unique take on a classic design. Available from Shaolin8 on eBay.

Nike Canarinho Collection – Holiday 2009

When you realize that these kicks are Brazilian exclusives, it seems totally natural that yes, those are canaries kicking a soccer ball on the Nike Dunk Low pictured above. Sharing its nickname with Brazil’s national soccer team, this pack of kicks and gear prominently features the tiny birds in all sorts of different forms. No surprise, then, that these are the second set from Nike Sportswear’s Canarinho Collection. The most exciting addition be the new Nike Blazer Low Metro. It’s an update to the retro basketball sneaker that has a slightly Free-like forefoot. Celebrity Feet: John Mayer – Nike x DQM Blazer High – Black

John Mayer, believe it or not is a bit of a sneakerhead, he’s been seen wearing various sneakers while playing shows across the world and during his time off. This past week he played a show at the Beacon Theatre in New York City and was seen wearing a pair of the Nike x Dave’s Quality Meat (DQM) Blazer High’s in Black. This pair of collaboration Blazer High’s was released exclusively at Dave’s Quality Meat last June. Mayer may have taken some style tips from his friend Jay-Z as he was dressed in all Black with the exception of the Swoosh on the Blazer’s.

Nike Blazer High V Lux Tier 0

We’re seeing straps everywhere! Nike has already done a few of these strapped Blazers, but here’s a pair that might lure the skeptical. Do not mistake these for the black 5 strap Blazer we previewed for Spring 2010. These V Lux version are Tier 0 and come equipped with some serious high-quality goodies. An all black layout, the upper is a premium tumbled leather, with cracked leather on the swoosh and some of its other accents. Only available to Tier 0 retailers, this is expected to drop December 1st. via Warped.

Nike Blazer AC LE Low – Unreleased Sample

Here is a pair of Unreleased Nike Blazer AC LE Lows. This specific colorway was never released and will be very hard to find. These Blazer AC’s feature a full suede upper with 3 velcro straps replacing the laces. The most exciting part of this shoe is the use of the legendary Tiffany green that graces the swoosh, liner and stitching on the heel tab. There’s nothing better than a pair that gives simple colors, but rather stands out with its use of materials. A pair of black and grey blazers would most likely be slept on by the jaded sneakerhead, but one might consider a pair furnished with carbon fiber. The lightweight woven filament takes the entire upper, supplimented with grey accent paneling and midsole, along with a white swoosh and branding.
