Remember those killer Nike Blazer pairs with the snakeskin Swooshes that we got a peak at earlier in the year? Or the incredibly coveted Supreme x Nike SB Blazers with the snake on the side? Well, that specific look has finally become a bit more accessible thanks to NIKE iD’s introduction of the Nike Blazer Mid iD “Year of the Snake”. The model allows for a couple different colors available which you can slap onto that old-school shaped Swoosh. See some mock-ups after the jump and then head to NIKE iD to whip up your own pair of the Nike Blazer Mid iD “Year of the Snake”.

Whereas the recently released Lunar Blazer expresses itself with bold colorways and puts its cushioning update right out in the open, the Nike Blazer Mid LR hides its LunarLon footbed within the traditional vulc sole and has to this point stuck to muted colorways. The Blazer LR’s classic good looks belie the space age addition that makes it distinct from the series’ other variations, and the fact that this Midnight Fog, white and black edition is fairly nondescript means that you can also employ them where something like a neon lunar sole just won’t do. Nike Sportswear has issued more suede Vintage Blazers than all other materials combined. Only once before has the series turned to canvas uppers, and it worked to great success with a couple of releases last spring. All of those were hightops, so it’s nice to have a new Nike Blazer Low VNTG Canvas release arriving at retail. Hopefully we can take these as a sign of more canvas selections to come, because the red outsole on these would make a fine shade for the upper on another pair. Stick with Sneaker News to see if that happens, but first check out more shots below of the pair you can buy now from Size?

Nike Sportswear’s Vintage Blazer line keeps on rolling with a couple of new styles in colors that look great in any era. You can’t go wrong with the Nike Blazer Mid and Low VNTG, a couple of suede makeups with contrasting leather Swooshes in the classic style that’s kept this series going strong for five years. The Neo Turquoise Mids were previously tagged as a January release but missed that date while a green edition follows up on last July’s Hasta edition with a more forest-y shade plus grey Swoosh/heeltab. Have a closer look below, then grab yours from NSW stockists like SNKRS.

It seems like the next wave of Retro should come with a “+” at the end, because the classic sneaker models we once new aren’t exactly what we’re used to. The Nike Lunar Blazer is the perfect example of a revamped original, keeping the original ’72 silhouette at heart while upgrading its parts with a LunarLon outsole, a padded ankle collar, and an exterior heel counter. Will anyone in the NBA hoop in the Lunar Blazer? The shoes look fit for the challenge. Check out the gallery below and if you’ve been following the process of the Lunar Blazer, cop now from id4shoes on eBay.

The latest Vintage Blazer from Nike Sportswear featuring this spring’s standout multicolor zig-zag is perhaps the most unusual application to date. We say that because the Sail/Bright Citrus pair’s Swoosh and black/Poison Green edition’s heel tab also feature the distinct herringbone-ish accent, but those areas have been prime spots for color hits. This Strata Grey and Photo Blue Nike Blazer Mid ’77 applies it to the lateral reinforcement panel, drawing attention to a part of the Blazer anatomy that’s been a tonal treatment for every VNTG release since 2009 (*’recycled’ multicolored builds excepted). Take a look below so you can compare all these upcoming releases, then pre-order this pair before it ships in April from End.

You might be wondering where the ‘Blazer’ is in this upcoming set of Air Force 1s, and outside of the colorway, the Blazer influence isn’t really that obvious. You might think that old-school tongue tag would make these a simple VNTG-style release, but those tags are before the Air Force 1s time, making a VNTG release an anachronism instead. The Blazer Pack is in fact the original suede colorways of the Blazer, with tonal navy, royal, red, green, and purple (womens) being offered up in this funky Summer 2013 set of releases, so check out all five after the jump and let us know if any of the colorways stand out on their own.
