The 2013 NBA Playoffs continue to be an interesting set of games, with series like those between the Heat/Bulls, Thunder/Grizzlies, and Spurs/Warriors shaping up to be not as lopsided as some may have predicted. Also keeping things interesting are the sneaker selections of the players still in it. LeBron James continues to hold things down with various PE versions of his Nike LeBron X, with teammate Chris Anderson showing support in the same sneaker. Similarly, Kevin Durant has rocked the Thunder-away version of the Nike KD V Elite while Kendrick Perkins went with a gradient flavored Nike KD V pair. Check out the on-court sneakers of those and many more NBA stars right after the jump in this Playoffs edition of NBA Feet.

Remember when Kendrick Lamar said he used to want to be like Michael Jordan? It looks like K Dot still harbors some of those feelings, as the much buzzed-about West Coast rapper has been keeping up with the retro releases-evidenced by his Air Jordan V wear here. Throwback time: This vintage video from a”War of the Stars” segment back in 1986 features Michael Jordan playing a game of H.O.R.S.E. and some 2-on-1- with young movie star Charlie Sheen and his father Martin. Of course, if Jordan played with his trademark competitive spirit, he would’ve taken the W, but father and son Sheen came out winning at the very end. The shoes? Not Air Jordan 1s, but what appear to be the Big Nike High in a red/white colorway. Check out this video below or bookmark it if you want to watch it later!

The celebrity set seems to be particularly interested in the custom sneaker scene. It makes sense though-they’ve got type of clout that these creations require and they’ve got pressure on them to have unique sneakers in an era when everyone’s a “sneakerhead”. Busta Rhymes is the latest customer, having called upon the skills of Sole Swap man Jason Negron for a light up pair of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Fighter Jet” and another more standard colored pair. Continue reading for the photos of Bussa Bus flaunting his pair and let us know if you think the light-up treatment is a good look.

Puma’s got another spitter on their team, as West Coast youngster Casey Veggies has just signed with the brand. The official title that he’s been given is “brand ambassador”, a role that will presumably see him showing up in commercials, promo shots, and the like. The big question of course: will they be giving him a sneaker? Veggies’ name is still a little small in the grand scheme of the hip-hop scene so we’d be surprised if he got the Kanye/Wayne/Tyga treatment but his career is just starting, so maybe Puma’s aiming for the long-term here. Let us know what you think of Puma’s latest rapper acquisition in the comments and stay tuned to see what comes of the project.

Rick Ross walked into the American Airlines Arena last night with one coveted sneaker on his feet, the Nike Air Yeezy, and left with another in his hands, the Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore. After the Heat’s huge victory, Wade walked over to Ross to bless him with his game worn pair, and even autographed them to boot. That means Rick Ross is now part of the elite club of stateside folks who actually have the Li-Ning Dwyane Wade footwear in their possesion. Continue reading to see the flicks of Wade’s generous gesture and let us know in the comments if you’re feeling the Way of Wade Encore.

The termination of Rick Ross’ Reebok sneaker sponsorship has freed up the rapper’s footwear quite a bit. Soon after him and the Vector Brand parted ways, the portly southern spitter immediately began bringing out some other stuff that had his rotation looking more like that of MMG labelmates Wale and Stalley. The most recent Heat/Bulls game was one such occasion, wherein Rozay sat courtside in the Nike Air Yeezy “Zen Grey”. Let us know if you like Ross‘ transition back to the Swoosh stuff after you check the rest of the shots post-jump.
